  • Be Cautious Booking This Makeup Artist

    I booked this makeup artist in October for my wedding, and everything seemed great at first, good reviews, contract signed, and deposit paid. But a couple of months later, I saw her post on Instagram that she had moved to Florida, which was completely shocking since I never heard from her directly. I reached out to confirm she’d still be here for my trial and wedding day, considering we had a contract and I had paid a deposit. I never expected her to say she wouldn’t be able to do my wedding. When I asked for my deposit back, she said, “I’ll get that to you in the next few weeks,” which was shocking and completely unprofessional. She clearly used my deposit (and probably others) to fund her move. It took two weeks to finally get my deposit back, after several follow-ups. I can’t speak to her makeup skills since I never got to use her, but I wanted to warn other brides. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, this is not something you should have to deal with. Be careful if you decide to book her!

    I cannot recommend Jordan enough! She is an absolute gem and truly made me look and feel gorgeous on my wedding day. She understood exactly the look I wanted and brought it to life perfectly. Not only did she nail my wedding day glam, but she also went above and beyond by squeezing me in for my welcome dinner and party. Her kindness and sweet personality made the whole experience so special. I’m absolutely obsessed with how she glammed me, and I’m so grateful I chose her for such an important day. If you’re looking for a talented, thoughtful, and all-around amazing makeup artist, Jordan is the one!

    I’ve had the pleasure of Jordan doing my makeup 3 times. For my engagement shoot, my bridal trial, and my wedding day. Jordan always does such an incredible job and she is an amazing makeup artist! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day because of her. My makeup stayed perfectly all day and night! When other makeup artists have put lashes on me in the past, it tends to make my eyes water, but all 3 times Jordan has done my makeup, she has never had my eyes water during that process. In addition to being an incredibly talented makeup artist, Jordan is also so sweet and kind!
