My passion and absolute love for photography started at a very young age. Photographing sports, bands and working for some of the premier modeling agencies throughout the world. After many years of experiencing all areas of photography, by almost accident, I stumbled into wedding photography. From that day 11 years ago, I'd fallen in love with ability to tell a story with a simple image. This is what first intrigued me about wedding photography and still drives me to put everything into my work.

I strive to allow my couples to enjoy their special day exactly how they wish. The majority of my photography work throughout the day is candid. Capturing those amazing moments that no one realizing are even happening. After nearly 19 years as a professional, I take great pride in being able to provide my clients with moments they will cherish for a lifetime.

I am so happy I chose Jason Mitchell Photography for my wedding photographer. He was professional and easy to work with. During our engagement photos, he put us at ease and was able to make the day fun and exciting. He was able to capture the fun and love in our relationship in a few photographs. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Jason was flexible, accomodating, and supportive during the transition. For the wedding, Jason again delivered. His talent in capturing pure joy and love in a moment is nothing short of amazing. My husband and I now have perfect photos to remember a perfect day. We cannot thank Jason enough for capturing beautiful memories.

Jason was amazing to work with. He arrived on time and took some absolutely beautiful pictures. I have never been much for posing for pictures for hours, he got a bunch of great formal pictures, but he never stopped taking pictures throughout the night. He did a great job of blending in to the background to really get the best candid pictures that capture the entire moment. If you are looking for a photographer that listens to what you want and takes absolutely stunning photos, look no further!

From the beginning of our experience, Jason was great! When we first started looking at him for our wedding, he wanted to make sure he was the right fit for what we were looking for and asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted. For our engagement shoot, he drove up to us in a blizzard so that we were able to get pictures in the snow and was willing to spend time in the cold to get good quality pictures that we were happy with. For our wedding, he spent the entire day with us so that we were able to get pictures getting ready throughout the entire reception. The whole experience was very comfortable and Jason is a very personable photographer. He took tons of pictures and you barely even notice that he is there. All of our guests commented on how likable and discreet he was. He went above and beyond and we could not have asked for a better photographer or better pictures for our wedding.
