That's where I come in...to be your biggest hype girl, direct you in ways that feel natural, and take away the stress of getting your pictures done! I strive to make my clients feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable...by the time we are parting ways, we will be friends and you'll have had so much fun you'll forget you were taking pictures!

My real name is Lauren Mandrino Ragusa, but my friends call me La. I am passionate about serving others and creating genuine connections with people. I understand that every story is unique and beautiful in its own way and I LOVE documenting that. The search for the perfect wedding photographer was a long journey for us, but everything clicked the moment we found Heylaphotography on Instagram. We were looking for someone who could capture our romantic, classic, and candid vibe, and after just one phone call with Lauren, we knew she was the one! We flew Lauren to New York City for our engagement shoot, and not only did she capture breathtaking photos, but she also went above and beyond by waking up at dawn to meet us in Central Park, ensuring we’d have the serene, crowd-free backdrop we envisioned. Lauren’s direction was spot-on—she guided us to create natural, effortless shots while still letting us just be ourselves. The result? ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. My fiancé and I can’t even pick our favorites because they’re all just that good. Lauren’s work perfectly captured our style, and we are BEYOND excited to have her as our photographer for our wedding next year.
