Hi! I'm Harper, a full-time wedding photographer based in the San Antonio area. I've been specializing in weddings since 2014 with over 160 weddings in experience, and take a detail-oriented approach to my photography. I am a Fine Art Photographer; I shoot with a blend of posed portraiture and candid-documentary with a heavy emphasis on detail images.

When I'm behind the camera I'm high energy, chatty, and easy-going. My clients always walk away saying their session was way more fun/easier than they expected, and I am proud of my natural ability to make people comfortable with me. My favorite compliment that I've received about my photos was that they "feel like a breath of fresh air" and I feel like that is because of the clean, true-to-color, crisp look to the way that I prefer to edit. My editing style is flattering to all skin types, naturally blurs imperfections, and I make a point of accurately capturing the colors you've carefully chosen for your wedding.

I absolutely recommend booking Harper for your wedding. She has such a creative eye and attention to detail. The photos she captured of my day were everything we could have asked for and more! Prior to the wedding, she was incredible communicative and helped answer all of our questions. Planning a wedding ain't for the faint of heart and she made so much of the process painless.

I booked Harper just under a year out from our wedding date, and I'm so glad I did! She was always super kind and responsive, and answered all of my questions upfront. She was very thorough and thoughtful when getting to know me and my husband's vibe and we wanted for our wedding photos. And OMG the photos!!! I cannot speak to her skill and sheer talent enough because I have never seen such beautiful photos! She captured our vision PERFECTLY down to every last little detail. And on our day she was on-time and ahead of schedule for most of the day. She was super attentive and very detail oriented. She ran the day like she's done it a million times! All of our group and family photos went by without a hitch. She really helped the day go so smooth, and delivered INSANE photos on top of that. These are photos that myself and my family will cherish forever. I honestly cannot reccomend Harper enough!

Harper is the absolute BEST, from start to finish! Every interaction with her made me even more confident we chose a true artistic genius. We both felt so comfortable during our engagement pictures, thanks to Harper’s clear directions on posing (something we felt otherwise not equipped for at all ha). As a couple who originally didn’t care that much about engagement pics, we were both truly shocked with how well the pics came out and how natural it both felt and looked! On wedding day she was beyond efficient, which made us both feel at ease and made sure we could actually be with our guests enjoying the day and not stuck doing portraits for hours. Her timeline was immensely helpful and even when we dealt with rain, that could have kept other photographers inside, Harper made sure we picked beautiful but dry outdoor backdrops and kept things moving! I think we got the perfect mix of sentimental shots/portraits and artistic shots, and she ALWAYS captured the joy of the moment either way. I also think her editing just makes everyone look flawless, magical, and angelic without being overly washed out or super obviously edited. If you are on the fence just book her, you won’t regret it :)

A signed contract and a retainer of $1,500+tax (fully applied to your total balance) is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your date on my calendar, with the remainder of your total balance due by 1 week before your wedding. You'll also want to have your date set, and your venue booked before booking with me.

A bridal session is a photoshoot of just the bride at either the venue (if availability and/or budget allows) or at another location of choice, usually sometime within the 4-6 weeks before the wedding. This is sometimes used as a dress rehearsal, a way to trial the hair/make-up to see how it photographs incase you end up wanting to adjust anything, or as a way to get some photos to display as part of the wedding decor at the reception. Personally, I just think it's worth it to soak up your experience of getting to be the bride for once and having fun taking some amazing photos of you when we can have a full hour or more to devote to it!

All portrait sessions are $600

Sure! But I highly recommend doing an engagement session with me (even if you've already had photos with someone else) so that we are that much more comfortable with each other on the actual wedding day.

Paypal or Credit/Debit. You'll receive online invoices for all payments, and auto-reminders when they are due or about to be due. I also accept tips (totally optional, but always appreciated) either in cash or through my personal venmo only if you ask me for it.

For most weddings happening at a single location, without any travel time between different getting ready and ceremony locations, I recommend having photography coverage start no less than 3 hours before your ceremony, and from there deciding whether or not it's important to you to keep me until the very end of the night. 8-9 hours is average, 10 hours usually allows for a more relaxed timeline of events, and any more is rarely needed unless there is something like travel between multiple location changes to account for.
