Gelfman Photography is a boutique studio that’s led by Matt and Lesley—newlyweds as of December 2023—who both have their Bachelor's in Photography and over ten years of experience in portrait and event work. Wedding photography is a very personal and vulnerable thing. You’re letting newcomers into the innermost circle of one of the biggest days of your life! We strongly feel that your photographers shouldn’t be nameless technicians that were just “assigned” to you. You should be comfortable with them as you would be with friends and feel safe in knowing they’re well-versed in the things that mean the most to you on your big day.

Photographers need to do more than just take the photos—they need to cultivate an atmosphere that backs the celebratory nature of a wedding. It’s our mission to do everything we can to make the photo aspects of your day stress-free, enjoyable, and unobtrusive. When it comes down to it, it’s most important for you to have have an amazing time at YOUR wedding! Photography should never be something to hinder that.
