My name is Ginella Mir but I am known as Ginella The MUA. I love seeing the transformation that occurs for my clients as I get them ready for their special day. I'm a certified makeup artist that takes great pride in my craft for every type of event, may it be for weddings, birthdays, or special events. I started my makeup artist career a few years ago at a retail store called Ulta as a beauty advisor learning about many different products and services. My love for makeup work continued to grow even more after I left Ulta. My next opportunity in this industry was to work as a beauty consultant for Sephora.

I learned how to adapt and love makeup artist work even more with the culture Sephora embraces. As I continued to grow and learn more about the makeup artist industry over the years, I decided to go on my own and become a certified freelance makeup artist with institutional school, Artist Makeup Academy. I have now been in the industry for about 5 years. I love glamming on wedding day because it is such a special moment not only for the bride but also for everyone involved on the wedding day. Being able to see the reaction after makeup is finished is priceless and such a memorable moment on the day of the wedding.

    I am beyond thrilled with the exceptional work done by Ginella on my wedding day! From our initial consultation, Ginella was attentive, professional, and truly understood the look I wanted to achieve. She provided expert advice and made me feel completely at ease. On the big day, Ginella and her assistant arrived on time and brought such a positive and calming energy. The makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night, even through all the happy tears and dancing! She even provided a make up kit for touch ups. I received so many compliments on how beautiful and natural my makeup looked. A special shoutout to Sam, who was also amazing and ensured everything ran smoothly with all my bridesmaids.     On 1/30/2024 I booked Ginella for a trial and my wedding. My makeup looked great in my engagement photos, but on 10/10/2024 she told me she could no longer work my wedding date. She sent back my deposit which was appreciated, but still frustrating to find a new vendor for me and my bridesmaids when I booked so far in advance and already paid for a 200 trial.

    Hi Alina! I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you. I did mention 7 months before your wedding I couldn’t no longer be the vendor of your wedding due to a family compromise that is out of my control. Again I am sorry I couldn’t work with you but when I told you the news you didn’t express your frustration and told me you would be okay with seeing if your hair stylist can do your makeup.

    I have so many things to say about Ginella but first I have to say what a wonderful kind hearted person she is! I am so grateful she was the one who did my hair and makeup! Let me tell you that girl knows makeup! She came with her chair and lighting I felt like I was a celebrity! So I am not the type of girl to wear makeup but I wanted to feel special for a friends wedding and Ginella made it happen! She is a true artist she can color match your foundation at a glance it was so impressive! But the reveal… when I saw myself I had to stop from crying I was just in shock! I’ve never seen myself in such a glamorous way the makeup was absolutely flawless i literally looked like I had the bold glam filter on my face! We talked through the whole process she made me feel so comfortable it felt like we were just friends having a good time! I am so blessed to have worked with worked with her.
