My name is Ginella Mir but I am known as Ginella The MUA. I love seeing the transformation that occurs for my clients as I get them ready for their special day. I'm a certified makeup artist that takes great pride in my craft for every type of event, may it be for weddings, birthdays, or special events. I started my makeup artist career a few years ago at a retail store called Ulta as a beauty advisor learning about many different products and services. My love for makeup work continued to grow even more after I left Ulta. My next opportunity in this industry was to work as a beauty consultant for Sephora.

I learned how to adapt and love makeup artist work even more with the culture Sephora embraces. As I continued to grow and learn more about the makeup artist industry over the years, I decided to go on my own and become a certified freelance makeup artist with institutional school, Artist Makeup Academy. I have now been in the industry for 8 years. I love glamming on wedding day because it is such a special moment not only for the bride but also for everyone involved on the wedding day. Being able to see the reaction after makeup is finished is priceless and such a memorable moment on the day of the wedding.

    Ginella was an absolute joy to work with for my wedding day makeup. Her communication style is extremely responsive, friendly and she really listens to what you want. She takes the time to get to know her clients on a personal level and truly cares about making them feel beautiful on their special day. She is incredibly sweet and yet so professional. She listened attentively when I described the look I envisioned and perfectly executed it. I felt like the best version of myself! The makeup was flawless yet natural and stayed vibrant from the ceremony through dancing all night at the reception.     I don’t even know where to begin because words can’t fully describe how amazing Ginella is! From the moment she started doing my makeup, I knew I was in the best hands. She not only made me feel absolutely stunning, but she also brought such a calm and positive energy to my wedding day—something every bride needs! She listened to everything I wanted, paid attention to every little detail, and created a look that was even more beautiful than I imagined. My makeup lasted ALL day and night (through happy tears and all!), and I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. I still get compliments on how flawless my makeup looked in photos! Beyond her insane talent, Ginella is just such a kind and beautiful soul. She made the whole experience so special, and I’m forever grateful for her magic.     I was extremely disappointed with Ginella The MUA's service for my wedding. Her communication style was unreliable, as she often cancelled appointments with excuses like being sick or having other plans. In fact, she cancelled on me 7 days before my wedding, leaving me no time to find another makeup artist. Even though she refunded me, I cannot recommend her services, as her last-minute cancellation caused a lot of unnecessary stress during an already hectic time. I never even got a chance to experience the quality of her work or see if she provided good value, since she never showed up. I would advise other couples to look elsewhere for their wedding beauty needs.

First, I did my best to support you after I found myself unable to fulfill the booking due to illness. I promptly referred you to another trusted makeup artist to ensure you had options for your wedding day. While I understand the inconvenience this caused, I always strive to provide solutions when challenges arise. Regarding the trial, I did pay out of pocket for your second trial for it to ensure you had an opportunity to experience my services. Unfortunately, after our trial, you chose not to proceed with payment for it, which added some complexity to the situation. I understand that this might not have been fully clear, and I sincerely apologize for any confusion on that front. I always aim to provide exceptional service, and I deeply regret that I wasn’t able to deliver that in your case. I truly value feedback and will use it to improve my processes moving forward.
