Owner, Janice Clayton, and her team of designers at Pretty Petals are artists and strive to push the boundaries and defy the trends to help you create a truly unique event. Pretty Petals couples appreciate our original designs, and are excited to see their love expressed throughout our style. My love for weddings started the morning of July 29th, 1981 when Lady Diana stepped out of her fairytale glass carriage, carrying an elaborate, cascading bridal bouquet. I had never seen anything so beautiful, and to this day, I remember every detail down to trailing ivy.

So I guess like all little girls, my dream stated with a fairytale story! In the late 90’s while working at a florist, I met with one bride who started to cry from being overwhelmed with the planning and said "why can’t this just be easy?" That single statement is why I started Pretty Petals of Charleston! My goal is to make it easy, and fun for all my couples. You should never cry during such a joyful time (unless, of course they are happy tears!)

Pretty Petals of Charleston exceeded our expectations for our wedding flowers. They were super easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, promptly answering emails and calls with a friendly demeanor. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were stunning when they arrived the morning of our wedding - the colors and varieties we requested looked even more vibrant and beautiful than I imagined. Their team worked diligently to set up everything in a timely manner and even stuck around to help move pieces to maximize the floral decor. We felt their pricing was very reasonable for the Charleston area given the exceptional quality. A highlight was when they surprised us by repurposing some arrangements to decorate our sweetheart table - that personal touch meant so much. We can't recommend Pretty Petals enough for any couple's big day - their talent, customer service and flexibility made them a joy to work with.

Janice and Laura truly knocked our wedding florals out the park. I provided them with 3 photos in the initial planning stages and told them I wanted colorful, fun, candles and they took it and ran … and they nailed it!! It was better than we could have ever imagined. They were so easy to communicate with, guests were giving us compliments all evening about how gorgeous the room was thanks to their work. The bouquets were fresh, the blooms were gorgeous and the groomsmen boutonnières were a perfect add on. I could not recommend them more.

Laura, at Pretty Petals, was amazing to work with. I used Pretty Petals for both my wedding and rehearsal dinner. I feel like my ideas and inspiration for both events were heard and she helped to bring my vision to reality. WOW!! Stunning florals for my wedding! I cannot rave about how beautiful they were! They were so sweet and easy to work with! They helped me cut some costs with floral while keeping them elegant and beautiful! I cannot get over how everything turned out and I am so thankful for Janice, Sarah and the rest of the Pretty Petals team!
