This company did a great job! My flowers were truly a dream come true and I appreciate their diligence thought the process! We made a last minute change that I thought was impossible to mend but they exceed our expectations! I really appreciated their professionalism throughout the day because we had a few surprises! We ended up having 2 extra bridesmaids, 3 last minute groomsmen and 1 extra table. Not only did they make everything on the spot for our family that we didn’t think were going to make our wedding. But it’s the way they did it! Yes, we received everything as planned but you could tell that they weren’t above and beyond good us! This company is filled with such great people! I have nothing but positive things to say and I look forward to seeing them again at my friends wedding!

My sister and cousin got married in 2024 and I booked A Floral Designs for my wedding this summer. They did the flowers for my bridal shower this past weekend and I am so excited to see the flowers for my wedding. Everything was STUNNING! They arrived on time for setup. They even returned after my shower to set up florals for our brunch the next day and they even let our guests take flowers home! I appreciate them so much and I cant thank this company enough for always showing up and showing out! Thank you A Floral Designs!

  • Beautiful Florals, Disappointing Communication

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but after my experience I feel compelled to share with others. First, I'd like to say that what Ayana did well, she did extremely well. Ayana is truly talented, however, I think there are important areas that need to be worked out, particularly when it comes to managing expectations and communication. The flowers that were delivered were gorgeous, vibrant florals that made a lovely addition to our special day. I also truly appreciate that she took responsibility and refunded us for an arrangement that never made it to the wedding because the wind blew it off a cart, and still improvised a really nice arrangement for that table. After our wedding I reached out to address some inconsistencies between what was quoted and planned, and what was actually executed on our wedding day. Specifically, 1) we received artificial florals for our chuppah / sweet heart table instead of the fresh flowers we had paid for and discussed, and 2) there was a significant discrepancy in the floral arrangements for our two 20-person long tables. Instead of the 1200 worth of florals we had planned for, we ended up with only a few bud vases scattered among the sand candles that I provided. This was a major letdown as it did not reflect the vision we had discussed. More disappointing than anything was the response I received after I reached out. She first took responsibility for the discrepancies but then cited external factors, like a floral crisis with wholesalers caused by political conflicts, deportations, and strikes. While I have no knowledge of the current floral market, I can respect and understand that certain circumstances may have been beyond her control. However, it was fully within her control, and her responsibility as a business owner, to notify me of any changes or items that she would not be able deliver as originally planned and contracted for. The flowers were one of the largest costs for my wedding. The flowers were ordered weeks in advance. I would have much preferred a conversation to explore alternative solutions, rather than learning afterward that these issues were known and not communicated with me. Had she communicated the challenges or limitations she was facing with fulfilling my order, we could have discussed potential alternatives together and adjusted accordingly. For example, we could have considered changing some of the arrangements and incorporated candles or other elements to supplement what was missing. Most egregiously, assuming that I would be ok with an artificial display for our chuppah / sweet heart table, rather than the fresh florals as discussed, and offering no discount for the change, was particularly disappointing. Had I known that the contracted fresh floral chuppah could not be delivered, I would have never agreed to a silk display for the same price. The expectation was for fresh florals, and had she been transparent about this issue, I would have asked for alternative solutions, such as smaller side florals or column arrangements, rather than moving forward with an option that did not meet my original request or expectations. Overall, not communicating with me about known issues felt like a complete lack of transparency and consideration for what I wanted.
