I have a passion for hospitality, outstanding service, and changing the reputation of wedding food... it can be memorable and delicious! I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.

We are a chef-owned restaurant and catering company with locations in Garland and Southlake, Texas which allows us to service the large DFW metroplex. Our team of chefs are classically trained in a variety of gourmet cuisines and started their careers in luxury resorts around the world. Our background in hospitality means that we are experts in crafting custom menus and coordinating event logistics. Our goal is to take the stress out of your food and beverage service.

    Ferah Catering & Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication style was easy, quick, responsive, and professional. We scheduled a tasting at one of their locations, and I was able to pick exactly what I wanted for the buffet menu. On the wedding day, everything was exactly as we had discussed - no unwanted surprises. Their catering team was super efficient and attentive, with one person dedicated to just my husband and myself while the others tended to our guests. The quality of their work was neat, pretty, and elegant. We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience for our special day.

    Ferah Catering was exceptional! From the initial back-and-forth emails, quotes, and inquiries, Stephanie was attentive and quick to respond. The experience included meeting with Chef Burak, taste testing, customizing our menu, and enjoying delicious mocktails. On our wedding day, the staff was incredibly friendly, the service was excellent, and they were attentive throughout the entire evening. Moreover, the food was outstanding! Ferah Catering played a pivotal role in our wedding day, and I would choose them again without hesitation. They are a fantastic, efficient, and delightful team!

    Ferah Catering & Events provided exceptional service for our wedding day. Stephanie & Chef Burak was a delight to work with - professional, responsive, and attentive to all our needs. Chef Burak went above and beyond, customizing a fusion menu that artfully incorporated both my husband's African American heritage and my Vietnamese background. He also thoughtfully created special meals for our young guests and vegan friends. The food was simply sublime - 5-star dining with exquisite, fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Stephanie and Chef Burak made sure we were well-fed and cared for throughout the celebrations - from cocktail hour bites delivered to our bridal suite, to perfectly plated dinner courses for the bride & groom (we hosted a buffet style) to keeping our drinks refreshed. They also offered cake cutting services and toile care of cleaning up after dinner. We had plenty of left overs that was delicious the day after. Our guests made sure to tell us “this is the best wedding food we’ve had in a while!” We couldn't recommend Ferah more highly for making our wedding meal so special and memorable.
