About The Shire Cottage Bakery
Jessie Kratz
The Shire Cottage Bakery is a family-owned bakery that is the result of the hard work and determination of our baker, Jessie Kratz. After years of spoiling her husband Justin, and kids Cole, Ava, Zoe, and Lucas, with all kinds of delectable treats the time was right for her to further pursue her passion for baking.
In addition to being a full-time mom, Jessie took on formal training to pursue this endeavor and in August of 2020 she earned her diploma in Professional Pastry Arts from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Jessie also holds ServSafe and Allergen Awareness certifications and the Shire Cottage Bakery's kitchen is fully licensed by the town of Adams where it is located.
