Led by owner Maegan Allen, this traveling bar and bartending business brings custom experiences to weddings across Virginia and surrounding areas. Inspired by first-hand experience of the wedding planning process, Maegan founded French Honey Hospitality as a way of streamlining bar hire for fellow to-be-weds. Having worked in hospitality for over a decade, they love nothing more than making people feel warm and welcome wherever they may be. With this in mind, they strive to deliver memorable cocktails that are meaningful and affordable.

Maegan was the Perfect Addition to Our Wedding Day

From the start, working with Maegan at French Honey Hospitality was an absolute joy. She is so laid-back, warm, and welcoming—it felt less like hiring a vendor and more like a friend helping out on the biggest day of my life. Her portal was incredibly user-friendly and made it easy to understand the services she offered. The option for a monthly payment plan was a lifesaver, helping ease my budget concerns. Maegan guided us through getting a liquor license for our beer and wine selection and provided coffee and apple cider—though I’m so jealous I didn’t get to try the cider because everyone raved about it! Our Uncle Tom had about 8 cups of it! The addition of apple cider at the ceremony site for guests was such a thoughtful and beautiful touch. She created a custom menu that tied in perfectly with our wedding theme, even using our artwork and designs to make everything cohesive. She also worked with us to feature kegs from a local brewery, which was so special to us. Maegan truly went above and beyond. If I could keep planning weddings just to work with her again, I would! Highly recommend French Honey Hospitality to anyone looking for a personal, thoughtful, and professional bartender.

Choosing to work with French Honey Hospitality was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only was Maegan passionate, talented, and professional, but she was easy to communicate with, hard-working, and kind. From the first phone call to “last call”, Maegan listened to what we wanted and made our vision come to life. During the planning process, Maegan was knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. She helped us pick our two signature cocktails, designed our personal menu, and gave us a detailed shopping list. On our wedding day, Maegan and Stewart showed up early to set-up the bar – and they went above and beyond by lending a helping hand to any vendor who needed it. During our cocktail hour and reception, the duo kept our drinks full and the bar lines short. We still have guests talking about how delicious our signature cocktails were, how friendly Maegan and Stewart were, and how much fun they had at our wedding. Lastly, we absolutely loved that French Honey Hospitality used “Green Bar Equipment” and compostable drinkware. Overall, my husband and I cannot recommend French Honey Hospitality enough! Don’t wait, book now!

Bringing French Honey onto our team of vendors was hands down the best wedding planning decision we made. From our initial phone call to "last call", Maegan and her team were attentive to our needs, efficient, knowledgable, hardworking, and genuinely fun to work with. Maegan nailed it on logistics; no lines for drinks and they kept the fun flowing for our thirsty guests. Maegan worked with us diligently (hello bride indecision) to create the specialty cocktail of our dreams that embodied the characters of our three beloved pets. She was even supportive of our questionable desire to name the drink: The Furball. The Furball was such a uniquely tasty cocktail that friends have asked for the recipe and we find ourselves recreating it whenever we host parties (which, btw, is the sweetest way to live out wedding day nostalgia). If you're wavering on hiring a bar services let this be your sign to DO IT. You'll be able to breathe easy knowing you've got French Honey.

We were thrilled with the bar service from French Honey Hospitality at our wedding this past weekend. Maegan was so friendly, responsive, and helpful through all stages of the wedding planning process. In addition to providing a custom shopping list for us and designing a beautiful custom menu board (which we're going to hang up in our home--it's so stunning), she crafted a delicious signature cocktail for me that was the highlight of our reception: a gorgeous blood orange margarita adorned with a citrus thyme salt rim. My guests couldn't stop raving about the creativity and taste of the drink, as well as all the other drinks Maegan served up for us. Further, Maegan took the time to come out from behind the bar to check on my husband and I during our reception, making sure our drinks were full. Maegan clearly has an incredible talent and passion for mixology that shone through in the amazing drinks and exceptional service on our big day. If you're looking for a bar service that will wow your guests with beautiful, delicious drinks, you simply must have French Honey Hospitality at your next event. Thank you for everything, Maegan! I'm gonna dream about that margarita forever!
