Q: Can The O-Tones play for our ceremony?

Yes! We have a variety of instruments and voices available for you to choose from. Most commonly piano or guitar and a female singer. Almost any style!

Q: Can The O-Tones play for our cocktail hour?

Yes! We can provide a trio up to 6-piece instrumental and/or vocal. Usually Jazz and Swing and Blues.

Q: Can The O-Tones play for our dinner?

Yes! Usually the full band, instrumental or soft vocal & instrumental. Usually Jazz, Swing, Blues, Ballads, etc.

Q: Can The O-Tones play for dancing?

Yes! The O-Tones have dynamic grooves from Swing to Blues to Motown & Soul & R&B plus Oldies and some Latin to please a broad range of people at your wedding reception!

Q: When should we have toasts?

We usually suggest doing it on the band's breaks so there's not too long a break in the music to keep the momentum up.

Q: Do you take requests?

Yes, but we request that you let us know when you hire us so we can learn and arrange anything not already in our repertoire for our voices and instruments. With our combination of singers and instruments we can accommodate a variety of styles.

Q: How early do you arrive to set up?

Usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours before we start playing.

Q: What makes you different from other musicians?

We arrange all the songs we perform for our group of singers and instrumentalists, making them unique but still recognizable for your group. Also, the instrumentalists improvise their solos, making them fresh and different each time. That's why we never tire of our repertoire!

Q: Can you play for a Jewish wedding?

Yes! We have some songs prepared and can learn a few new ones if requested when you hire us.

The O-Tones, a hot New England Swing and Soul band will melt your hearts and get your feet dancing. They’ve got soul. The O-Tones band has been playing for public and private events all over New England since 1990 and is a dynamic entity. Their repertoire includes many decades of music from the 1940s Swing tunes by Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra and others to Soul and Motown hits like Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations and many more! They will make your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and/or dancing special and unforgettable!

We work with each couple to find out what they want their special day to look like. We have a song list with many styles (Swing, Blues, Soul, Jazz, Motown, Latin, Oldies, R&R) that they can pick from and can learn some special requests. We are happy to be part of any part of their wedding - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing - providing music that supports their vision. The O-Tones are extremely talented musicians who come together to play the music they love! With several soulful singers, backed by a grooving rhythm section, they deliver. The soloists (sax, guitar, piano, plus trumpet &/or trombone if desired) hit just the right tone!
