Rickochet Entertainment boasts over 20 years of music entertainment experience — from traditional audio engineer training, to working as radio personalities, to DJing in nightclubs, to years of event service experience for both corporate and private parties. This breadth of skills and experience gives us a distinct advantage over other DJ services … we know a wide range of musical styles; we know how to read a crowd; and most importantly, we have the experience to confidently respond to any need or request!

    Super impressed with this company! We just had our wedding on Friday, 10/4/24. We loved working with them from our first wedding planning call. They have an awesome client website portal that was really great to organize and pick all of our songs that we wanted to be played. They are actually real DJ's and mixed all our songs that we picked out. Our dance floor was packed for 3 straight hours. They mixed all different genres, and didn't play the whole song at times. They kept the flow going, and their mixing was flawless. It was so cool know that we had a REAL DJ for our wedding. Big Thanks, too Rick and the whole Rickochet Team. We can't wait to have you for our company holiday party in December.

    Amazing! We found Rick through the venue list of recommended vendors (we got married at The Wellshire). We reached out to a few DJ companies.. we filled out several long questionnaires, some companies never responded, others wanted 1 hour calls to ask questions (literally a phone call version of the questionnaire which didn’t really make sense), some companies had us speaking with a different person each time we sent an email. A non-negotiable to us was knowing our actual DJ. All the companies we reached out to (minus Rickochet) had multiple DJs with no guarantee of who we’d get for our wedding day. We filled out the info form on Rickochet’s webpage and were contacted within an hour. Most of that initial discussion was around topics outside of the info form. Rick himself is the DJ and all communications came from him directly. We loved that. He had such good energy, was professional but also kind and easy to talk with. We had a handful of calls leading up to our wedding and Rick was always so helpful, letting us know areas we didn’t need to worry about and that we could just give him basic info and he would take charge (as a bride planning my own wedding this was a huge weight off!). He has a portal that was easy to use and navigate where we filled out all our details. The day of the wedding, Rick was the vendor to check in with us the most. And we say that in the best way! He would check how we were doing, let us know what was next up (like if it was time for speeches) and if we were ready for him to move our guests that way or if we wanted a few minutes- and if we asked for a few minutes, he’d still come back after those few minutes and check back in if we were ready before moving along. That was so thoughtful and shows that he really cares for his couples. We also had their photo booth at our wedding and it was such a hit! I feel terrible as I cannot remember the attendant’s name who ran the photo booth but she was magnificent! We’re trying not to make this review too too long :) but there’s many things we loved and appreciated about Rick. You can tell through his behavior, communications, dedication and attention to couples and the details that Rick takes pride in his work, loves what he does and the couples he works with. If we had to go back and do it all again we would definitely hire Rick.

    Cyrus and Sydni from Rickochet Entertainment were the most amazing vendors on our special day! DJ Cyrus was so accommodating and kept the party alive all night with his very open communication style. His upbeat vibe and heartfelt personality will forever be remembered! Sydni ran the Photo Booth and was so sweet and patient with everyone, putting a smile on everyone's face. With high quality work and fun props included, this was definitely a memorable experience for everyone. DJ Cyrus even stayed longer and played extra/requested songs. I would recommend Rickochet Entertainment every time!

    We would highly recommend hiring DJ Rick as your wedding DJ! He is very detailed in his planning, and he does multiple phone consultations to make sure that you know what to expect on your big day. One of the things that really sold us on DJ Rick is the client portal on his website- you are able to add songs on there for the big moments (processional, first dance, etc.) as well as create a must-play, could-play, and do-not-play list for the reception. The website also has great lists of songs- top father-daughter songs, top requested songs, top 80s songs, etc. It was an incredible resource! In addition to being a great DJ, DJ Rick offers a photo booth which was a huge hit! People were taking photos all night with it, and it got rave reviews from our guests. He provides the props as well, which made it especially fun! He also took a video of us doing our sparkler send off, which we really appreciated since our photographer was not contracted to stay until the end. DJ Rick did an amazing job with everything- you will not be disappointed!
