Hi! I'm Ashley, a traveling wedding photographer based in the DMV area. As a traveling wedding photographer, I'm always on the move, ready to embark on new adventures and document love in the most breathtaking locations. From adventorous elopements to grand celebrations in majestic venues, I thrive on capturing the unique essence of each couple's journey. I believe that photography is more than just taking photos; it's about freezing moments in time, preserving the raw emotions and genuine connections that make weddings so special. My goal is to craft a visual narrative that reflects your personalities, your love, and the beauty of your day.

I'm a traveling wedding photographer based in the DC area. I'm a wife, a mom to two amazing kids, and a coffee-loving bookworm who's always on the hunt for the next adventure. I'm all about capturing the love and joy that fills the air on a couple's big day. There's something truly magical about being there to document those once-in-a-lifetime moments, from the first kiss to the last dance. But for me, photography is about more than just taking pretty pictures. It's about telling a story, capturing the essence of the couple and their unique love story.

    We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day!! From the moment we met, Ashley made us feel completely at ease, and throughout the entire process, she was both professional and personable. She listened to our thoughts and needs, and executed them beautifully!! The day of the wedding, she captured every special moment—both big and small—with such precision and artistry. Ashley didn’t just take pictures; she told the story of our day through her lens. Every time we look at our photos, we are transported back to that magical day, reliving the emotions, the laughter, and even the quiet, tender moments we might have missed in the hustle and bustle of it all. Oh and if you are also camera-nervous couple like us, don’t worry, Ashley gets your back!! Her attention to detail and ability made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! We were both a little nervous about being photographed, but she had a way of guiding us through each shot in such a relaxed, natural way that we almost forgot we were posing. ;) The final images exceeded all of our expectations!! She perfectly balanced candid shots with more traditional portraits, and the lighting, composition, and timing were just flawless! We looked at our photos and we were both like “who are these stunning people??” We’ve received countless compliments on the photos, our families and friends are still raving about how beautiful and authentic the photos are, and we’ll treasure them for the rest of our lives!! We’re so grateful to have had Southern & Grace Photography as part of our wedding day—captured the essence of who we are as a couple, and we are very thankful for her professionalism, talent, and the heart she put into her work—truly a highlight of our wedding experience! 10/10 recommended!! :)

    From the beginning we knew Ashley was going to be an amazing photographer. Her collection of work is absolutely beautiful. She would reply to our questions quickly and with in-depth answers. She is super helpful, organized, and just an overall joyous presence, especially on the day of the wedding.
