The typical process is as followed: 1. Complete a contract to secure the date 2. Meet with the customer by scheduling a simple phone meeting. 3. Send a music selection to see what they like and don't like along with a reception planner form and an example of a time line. This gives the DJ the ability to plan ahead and assist you on having a flawless event.
The education and training we posses is that of years of experience and thousands of weddings performed.
I got started doing this type of work back in my younger years when I attended a wedding that the DJ was not really that good. I could see how the DJ could make or break the wedding and reception and I felt I could do a better job.
The type of customers I have worked with where from all walks of life. There are very few that I feel I may have not had the pleasure of meeting over my 28 years of experience.
