Natural born life of the party. Bringing people together to have a good time would be my super power. Not only do I love my job but I love being able to give my wedding couples the wedding experience they dreamed of.

Not only am I a high energy DJ, I'm a dancefloor guy first. I like to get in the crowd sometimes just to jumpstart the fun. Sometimes I have to teach a few moves while still in the mix. I get it honest. I come from a family of people that love to dance.

"I know a DJ" Reception package

Price$1,599

Description

This package is for those who have a DJ friend that plays the music they know and love but does not necessarily do weddings. I will host and M.C. the event as my own and keep the guests entertained all the way up to the start of the dance floor. The "Headlining DJ" will take over to start the dancing and close out the night. I will bring the sound system and set it up for the entire reception and we will switch to the "Headlining DJ"'s personal controller before the dancing begins.

    As a wedding planner in the industry for 15 years - I can say that Makai is one of the very best DJ's I've ever worked with. It's hard to find someone who tows the line between engaging with the crowd, but doesn't go over the top and that can work hand in hand with the coordinating team to keep things flowing and pivot when needed. He's a true professional and I refer him to all my clients!

    Makai is an AMAZING DJ and will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long. He listens to your music preferences and puts together a solid set that reflects your taste and style yet still reading the crowd and knowing the best song choices to play next. He connects with guests at the event which is such a good way of keeping them entertained and dancing. Has a vast knowledge of music so he can manage any genre. Truly one of my favorite DJs to work with!

    Being in the wedding industry I've worked with a lot of DJs but I have to say that DJ Makai was AWESOME! He definitely knows how to keep the dance floor going but also is very helpful during set-up and when other vendors need something! I want to recommend him to everyone!!
