DJ Dave’s Mobile Disc Jockey

Hired DJ Dave for our wedding and were assigned a DJ that worked for them. Talked to him about 2 weeks out before the wedding and once again a week before to talk about what we wanted out of the DJ, gave him the music we wanted, and any specifics needed (first dance songs, etc.) Upon the DJ’s arrival he set up and after I came downstairs before walking down the aisle multiple vendors and people said something about him being rude or cranky to them? I gave the DJ the timeline with comments specific to his work for the evening and when it came to our first dance, he played the wrong version of the song we asked. The music we gave him on the Spotify playlists were the only songs specific that we wanted him to play (included pre ceremony and dinner music as well as dance music. Included first dance songs) so I’m not sure where he got that version. Our first dance was fully choreographed to that specific song so thankfully it didn’t mess us up too bad but it definitely wasn’t right. As the night proceeded he neglected to tell us we needed to start speeches because we were “having a good time” so instead of on time we were rushed through a fair amount of things. Overall the work was fine but slightly disappointing for the cost.
