Boston Guitar Studio

The Hungarian-born Jozsef Halajko has been a guitar teacher and performer for over 30 years. He has given recitals in Boston, New York, Toronto, Munich, and in Budapest. In Budapest, he was a performing artist member of the State Philharmonic -- the organization for public concerts of classical music. Mr. Halajko has performed with the Boston Chamber Orchestra, the Strings of Europe viola-guitar duet, the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra, the Fukuda-Halajko flute-guitar duet, and he was principal guitarist in the guitar quartet at The Boston Conservatory.

I have played at countless wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dinners. My repertoire includes the "standard" "traditional" wedding music, as well as many different styles. Spanish-Latin guitar music and Flamenco are also in my focus. If given substantial notice, I am happy to learn a special request as well. I have a "state of the art" sound system, also a battery powered amplifier to be able to play anywhere. I am flexible and negotiable. I love to drive long distances.
