Based in Thomaston, Georgia, The Woodall House is a classic wedding venue. Built in 1910, this stunning house has stood the test of time, and today, proudly welcomes guests to Thomastown to celebrate their private events. A carefully designed 2021 restoration reflects every detail of true southern charm, comfort and elegance. The owners, Brandon and Kari Creamer, are proud to re-introduce The Woodall House to locals and visitors alike. Staying true to the original build by Dr. McKenzie, the interiors of this house have been refreshed and updated. The Woodall House features multiple areas for hosting events. Couples can use the brand new covered event addition for their ceremony and reception as well as the covered front porch. Other events besides weddings are also welcome here. We offer a variety of spaces to host your next event. Our space can accommodate a variety of gatherings including, but not limited too, baby and bridal showers, graduation, birthday gatherings and much more.

This magnificent Georgian-style home was built in 1914 for Cornelius Vanderbilt Truitt, a financier, and businessperson, by P. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. In 1937, the house was purchased by Nasour and Mary Mansour, the first generation of dry goods merchants known regionally for their Mansour’s Department Stores, first in LaGrange and then in other major cities in the region. The Truitt Vanderbilt Club has an incredible array of unique and experiential rooms, nooks, porches, crannies, lawns, and one-of-kind spots to make your special event very special. The Augusta Room and The Savannah Room both seat up to 50 guests, but the difference is that the Augusta room has a window and the Savannah room is a bit larger. All rooms are equipped with A/V that are included as an option when reserving the space. Couches and chairs are also available in all rooms for a cozy feel for any event.
