It all begins when you enter the 280-acre Park, you immediately leave the day behind as you are immersed in rolling green hills, gorgeous gardens, and two unique venues with different vibes. The rustic log cabin, within a quarter acre of gorgeous gardens with a spectacular skyline view of Hartford an outdoor marquee reception tent; the Cabin at Hilltop Garden. The other venue, The Emerald Room of the Irish Garden, equally stunning, which is an elegant stone building with cathedral wood ceilings, with its own half-acre stunning garden surrounded by tall Emerald bushes, a 6' stone wall & wrought iron fencing, complete with a private dressing room! Come visit, pictures, although beautiful do NOT do the Park justice!

The grounds of the park are impeccable and make such a beautiful backdrop for weddings. “Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!”

Here at Tunxis, we offer two unique wedding venues:  First is the outdoor Pavilion that you will find nestled in a pine grove.  Spring through Fall, this outdoor escape is perfect for your rustic wedding with up to 300 guests.  The second is the indoor Fireside Dining Room.  Year-round, this cozy tavern space is ideal for weddings with up to 120 guests. 

“We had our wedding in the pavilion which was beautiful. It is elegant, yet simple. We were able to bring as many decorations as we wanted or as few. At night, there are so many lights that light up the area. The bridal suite is right in the pavilion, which was extremely convenient. Our day of coordinator did so much to make our day extra special. She was extremely organized, brought us anything we needed and helped make sure we got all the pictures we wanted. (which included taking us out in a golf cart!).”
