“The staff/owners at Barn South are incredible! So easy to work with, helpful and thorough. This venue is beautiful as is, so much subtle attention to detail, but also provides an awesome canvas to showcase couples' personalities/preferences as well as favorite vendors! “We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.”

There is a brand new garden area that is ideal for an outdoor ceremony or reception! We have string lights inside the barn as well as 100 white resin wedding chairs, 7- 60in round tables, 15- 6ft tables, and 3- 8ft tables free for you to use. I would love to get you in for a tour to show you around our wonderful venue and answer any questions. The Mill is a 100-year-old cotton mill that was recently revitalized with a focus on keeping the feel and history of the original buildings. Our space is truly unique and can be easily transformed to be as luxurious or rustic as you wish depending on the vision that you have for your special day.

“We had our daughter's wedding and reception at Timbers on Etowah. Located in The Mill in Canton, this venue has a lot of character. It is in a beautifully restored cotton mill and features brick walls and wood pillars. The Venue Manager and Wedding Coordinator were very attentive and fulfilled our requests with a gracious attitude. The venue offers a beautiful bridal suite, a fun groom's den, kitchen, kids rooms, and spacious bathrooms for your guests. We had a wonderful experience working with Timbers on Etowah! I would highly recommend this venue.”
