The Yellow Barn is an intimate and rustic gathering space located in the heart of Johnson County. Details at the barn are like none other, from our wooden spool tables, to the beautiful outdoor scenery. The Yellow Barn welcomes indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions for all kinds of lovers!

Eventful At Locust Grove is on a farm that was established in 1847 and was named Locust Grove. The home on the property is a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The garden space is where we do our ceremonies, the ceremony area sits next to a field that is either planted in corn or soybeans and is a gorgeous view for your guests. Next door sits our reception venue that is covered with Kansas limestone to give it an old barn feel. There are some cool architectural details inside including white columns and vintage chandeliers. We have a leather Chesterfield sofa in the front room with some leather club chairs and other seating for your guests. It's a great first layer of decor for you to come in and put your spin on for your big day. We offer lots of decor for you to use for the tables and we will set it all up for you once you have made your selections. That leaves you with less to do but the final layer of "fairy dust" to add to your vision.
