“I cannot believe how lucky I was to have such great beauty artists for my wedding! As someone who loves hair and makeup, I am very particular and have high standards; MMUAV exceeded my expectations! It can be very overwhelming with so many beauty artists out there, but I selected MMUAV because they had excellent reviews and reasonable prices (which is very uncommon in the NJ area). Leading up to my trial, they were a pleasure to communicate with and were very responsive. They were also super helpful with all my questions (such as determining how many artists I needed, what times we should start, etc.) I felt so good about my decision after the trial with Victoria and Jenny! They were so warm and welcoming, and we just had so much fun chatting the whole time. I had a vision of soft glam makeup with the focal point being my eyes. I wanted to do something a little different and add some pops of color with my eyeshadow. Victoria helped bring this vision to life using a soft purple that brought out the green in my eyes! Jenny did romantic curls in a half up do for my hair and incorporated babies’ breath for me. I couldn’t believe how talented she was and how pretty my curls looked! By the end, I felt like I really bonded with Victoria and Jenny! I was so nervous the day of the wedding and having MMUAV there brought a calm and relaxing atmosphere. They fit in so well with my bridal party and just felt like one of the girls. My hair and makeup came out AMAZING! I felt so beautiful that day and it’s all thanks to them! “I cannot recommend Sophie enough for wedding make up. My wife and I used Sophie as our makeup artist for ourselves, our two moms, and my sister-in-law. Getting your make up done is an intimate process and sets the tone for the entire day and with Sophie there I felt beautiful and comfortable the whole time. We were not able to do a make up trial due to my schedule so she worked with me prior to my wedding day via zoom to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. She sent me examples and helped me articulate my vision and even tried the looks on herself so that I could see them come to life. On the day of I felt so glam and powerful. My look lasted through performances and lots of dancing and my pictures from the end of the night are still STUNNING with no touch ups required (though she did provide us with the cutest touch up kits) My wife’s style and comfort with make up is much different than mine so she did a make up trial and Sophie helped her to find a look that was “wedding glam” but still felt authentic. Our looks were very different and incredibly “us” and showed off Sophie’s range and talent. Logistically, she is a complete professional with high end products that she organizes for ease of use and hygiene. Though my make up ran much longer than intended, she had anticipated that and so we still finished exactly on time. I never felt rushed or stressed - only like an absolute queen. It was the perfect way to start my wedding day and was worth every single penny.”

“JoAnn is an absolute gem, not solely for her skills in her profession as a makeup artist, but also as a spirit in itself. She was very accommodating and flexible leading up to the wedding date, and I am still in awe of the look that came together and the journey it was to get there. It felt fated. I reached out to JoAnn initially in search of a hair stylist for my wedding day, for I thought that I had already settled on a makeup artist. My best friend thankfully was able to join for the hair trial with JoAnn (post makeup trial elsewhere; trials scheduled same day). While sitting under the dryer, my best friend and I chatted, ultimately recognizing that we thought I could do slightly more “wow” makeup for a wedding day. We agreed that the makeup done elsewhere was good, but a bit too everyday of a look. It became a no brainer to tie in a makeup trial with JoAnn. When she returned to check on me under the dryer, I expressed my thoughts on the makeup. She was able to candidly opine and give a sample taste of a pivoted vision right then and there about enhancing a look for more pop yet still remaining natural.
