“Look no further! If you’re anything like us, The Gardens will be the only venue you need to tour! It was truly love at first sight when we toured The Gardens. It checked all of our boxes so we had no doubts in our mind. Over the course of the two years we spent planning our wedding, Amanda and The Gardens staff were always easy to reach and happy to answer all questions. We appreciated the "can do" attitude of everyone at The Gardens, and their help with making all of our requests seem like no big deal. From our mobile photobooth inside of a VW Microbus, to our 6-piece jazz band during cocktail hour, to our cigar bar and lawn games - the staff let us utilize what felt like every inch of the property and were happy to make all the arrangements needed to accommodate us. You can tell that the maintenance of The Gardens is a labor of love for Johan and all involved - the restored 1800s Cream City chapel and schoolhouse as well as the garden space bursting with colorful flowers are a testament to the love and effort that goes into keeping this historical property beautiful. We got endless compliments on our venue selection. Our guests could not stop raving about how stunning of a setting it was. The Gardens takes care of both catering and bar, and boy, do they do it well! We got lots of compliments on the food, some even saying it was the best wedding food they ever had! The bar staff (especially Julian!) were accommodating to our ideas for super boujie signature drinks and mocktails, which were happily consumed by our guests. We will forever be singing the praises of this venue and every wonderful person who makes The Gardens what it is. “We ended up having an amazing wedding at Scenic View Country Club in October 2020. The space is nicely laid out and provides plenty of room with dance floor, huge bar and separate dining area. The wrap around porch provided nice outdoor space and would be great for cocktail hours, weather permitting. The views of the trees and green provided a great backdrop for ceremony and pictures. When COVID hit, there were a few changes in their event coordinators which made us a little nervous but once we got Clarissa a few months before our day, that all changed. Clarissa and her staff really made our day special. She was organized and great at communication leading up to our day. Planning a wedding in 2020 wasn't easy but I appreciated Clarissa's flexibility and help as we got closer. Day of, she was so helpful keeping us on track and making sure everything ran smoothly. We had some rain scheduled but still wanted to keep the ceremony outside if possible. We luckily got a window before our ceremony began and the staff was out there wiping off chairs and leaf blowing puddles so I wouldn't get my dress wet. Throughout the night, the staff continued to do an amazing job with serving dinner and keeping our guests happy! We were also very impressed with the food and heard nothing but good things from guests. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience and very happy with our choice to have our special day at Scenic View!”
