In the early 1970’s, Paul’s Pastry Shop located in Picayune, Mississippi, began filling the King Cakes with an assortment of Fruits and Cream Cheese, then topping them with the brightly colored Mardi Gras sugars and sliced almonds… thus beginning a new tradition of the Mardi Gras King Cake. Our customers not only have the choice of the traditional cinnamon king cake, but also an exotic, deliciously filled King Cake with your choice of up to four flavors in the same cake.

Founder of B A T T E R, Abi Caswell, has known since her first job in high school (working the counter at a cupcake shop) that she loved little, sweet treats. Abi left after 4 years, but never forgot the joy she felt serving customers their treats for special occasions. Abi, known to her friends and family as the "cupcake queen," was later always asked if she could make a small cake for various events. After denying many requests, Abi finally taught herself how to frost cakes.

At Debbie Does Doberge we make your classic New Orleans style doberge, with seven perfect layers of cake, six layers of pudding, and a poured-fondant icing. We make the classic lemon and chocolate, but see no reason to stop there. From Red Velvet to a boozy Bananas Foster, we make the perfect variety for mixing and matching flavors on your special day.

Based in central Mississippi, but serving brides all over, Hailey is honored to have been a part of over 1000 weddings in the past 17 years. Early in life, she found a love for creating art through baking and designing cakes and sweets for all occasions. In 2010, at just 19 years of age, she opened her own bakery and has been baking ever since!
