For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Near Montgomery, Auburn, and Birmingham, it is run by the Marr family, who is dedicated to making a couple’s wedding vision a memorable reality. The Marr family bought Marsgate in 2010 and since then it has been the site of many unforgettable get-togethers with loved ones. Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest. There is plenty of room in a covered pavilion and around the swimming pools for a reception for about 300. We include tables & chairs but couples can choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, bartender, etc. for maximum flexibility though our on site wedding designer can assist and handle rentals if desired. Here at Barns and Bins we offer Elegance and Rustic Charm for your Special Day. As Crenshaw County's newest venue we specialize in making your Wedding Day as perfect as possible. With a capacity of 198 people indoors, we have our Outdoor Patio area as well as an Outdoor Ceremony Space in front of our Owners Great-Grandfathers Barn. We offer a Handcrafted Bar room, full Bridal and Groom suites, Indoor Chapel Area, Indoor Reception Area, and a Warming Kitchen with Ice Machine, and Personalized Alcohol Packages. We also have Handicap Accessible Restrooms as well as a Full Shower Room. All Wedding Packages include Tables, Chairs, 14 Church Pews, Decorative Whiskey Barrels, Linens, access to our Full Warming Kitchen, Bar Space, Ice Machine, Shower, and a Staff on Premises.
