The 1950's barn, nestled on the corner of a forty-acre farm on the Indiana/Illinois state line, has been renovated into an event venue that could comfortably seat over 350 people. Some highlights include a foyer that could be driven through, the ballroom boasting five chandeliers, heating/cooling, kitchenettes, changing rooms, restrooms, an outdoor pavilion, numerous outdoor ceremony locations, and grounds with mature trees.

The Gala Barn is a nostalgic 1800's barn set on rustic farm property in Fountain County, Indiana, a charming setting for couples to share their wedding day and celebration with family and friends. The Gala Barn schedules one wedding a weekend, with our wedding parties able to use the Gala Barn Friday morning to Sunday morning to prepare for the ceremony and reception as they would like. The Gala Barn allows couples to use the vendors they would like and provides amenities at no additional cost. Parking accommodations, two restrooms, 300 chairs, more than 40 tables, and various decorations are provided. A bar location, serving table, and refrigerator are available. The Gala Barn has more than 4500 sq. ft. of space on three levels with a suggested capacity of 250 with fans and heat. The Gala Barn has an attached deck leading to a private room in the silo, a walkout patio, and several locations for outside ceremonies. The Gala Barn is an old fashioned setting for new beginnings.

We like to believe the love transfers with them. You simply make an appointment with an experienced designer and a few months before your wedding, create your tablescape and choose your decor. Engelbrecht Farm sits on 8 acres and is located in the heart of farming country. A very unique structural features of the barn is the opening to allow guests to be seated to two levels and both levels can look at the head table for a gallery type feel. The other unique feature is its size. It is the largest actual barn (not modern structure that looks like a barn) within multiple states at 4500 square feet. Adjacent to the barn is the old 4000 square foot feedlot with flower garden and iron pergola. Late in the day makes for a great spot for outdoor games. With the barn comes the recently restored, three bedroom farmhouse originally constructed in the 1890’s. One amazing aspect for the wedding package is it’s a standard three day booking. Families arrive on Friday and check out on Sunday. This gives them time to relax and take the whole experience in. Plus the time is spent making their wedding their own. This is the place for imagination and creativity to really shine.
