The Barn at Crescent Lake was the perfect venue for our wedding. Hector and the entire staff were fantastic to work with - they were highly communicative, professional, and made the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with its rustic charm and stunning natural scenery. Our guests raved about the gorgeous setting and delicious food. The team went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we hoped for and more. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful venue and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a breathtaking and memorable wedding experience.

The Barn at Jewel Farms was created as an extension of Lake Jewel Farms, a plant nursery and landscaping company in Odessa, FL. Owners Henry and Kristen Arce decided to expand their property and business in 2021, by buying an additional 15 acres of land adjacent to their plant nursery. Their vision was to build a barn as an event center to bring people together for weddings and other special events. We have many other usable event spaces including ceremony locations, a covered patio for cocktail hour, Bridal Suite and The Lounge. Included in all of our venue rentals are a sweetheart table, classic 8 ft. farmhouse tables and matching bench seating. We have an assortment of additional tables for guest book, seating chart, gifts, cake and desserts upon request.

From the moment we started working with the Marriott, we have had the best experience. We worked with Jenna, the sales manager, a lot and she was also so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I honestly was not stressed the week of the wedding because I felt like she was so helpful and trusted her to make sure all of my requests were met. She even came to our welcome reception to greet our guests and hand them drink tickets. A few weeks before the wedding, we met Dan, the banquet coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic and so helpful in helping us envision our room set up. He stayed the day before our wedding to set up the room early and it was flawless. He stood at the door of our reception when guests arrived to help direct them to their seats. His hard work and dedication to what he does was truly evident. I feel that Jenna and Dan truly went above and beyond to ensure we had our dream wedding. Joanna was also very helpful with our wedding room block as she is very responsive and quickly assisted with anyone hotel room needs for either my guests or myself. All of the hotel staff including front desk, valet, bartenders, servers etc were also amazing throughout our stay. We got SO many compliments from our guests about how welcoming, friendly, and helpful all the Marriott staff was. Even the maids were amazing and so warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived at the Marriott for our wedding weekend, we were greeted by Wilmer, who was beyond helpful is unloading our car and transferring multiple items into our hotel room and he was present throughout the weekend to assist us with any other needs we had. Also, Rick and Ricardo were amazing bartenders, super friends, accommodating and truly helped to make our wedding into a full weekend event full of fun and everlasting memories. All in all I could not have asked for a better weekend with the support of the Marriott!! I would recommend this group to anyone and hope to be back to visit again soon!

From the first meeting with their event staff, they were able to walk us around the venue and paint a picture of all the possible ways ZooTampa can host a wedding. We were very impressed with all of the amenities provided by the venue. The outdoor and indoor areas ZooTampa offered were perfect for the ceremony and reception. One of the highlights was the cocktail hour, which was located next to the Giraffe habitat. Our guests were delighted to see one of the Zoo's Giraffe's out during this part of the wedding. The food that was provided by the Zoo catering team was fantastic. We had Ribeye, Chicken parmesan, and Mushroom ravioli on our menu and the staff was able to accommodate to any dietary requests. Lastly, the ZooTampa staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on our special day.

Hotel Alba hosted my wedding reception on 10/10/20 and we had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and has a very unique design and feel. It was a great taste of Tampa for our friends and family who were visiting from out of town. Even better than the hotel itself were the office and event staff. Everyone we interacted with, from the GM to the bartenders, were helpful and accommodating. I cannot say enough nice things about the event manager, Kristina. I hired a day-of coordinator from an outside company and had a very bad experience, but Kristina went above an beyond to handle everything we needed. Kristina helped us manage reception items (gifts, party favors, signage, etc.), coordinated with vendors, and even handled some last minute meal changes we had from some of our guests. Finally, the food and food service were excellent. A few months before the wedding, the event staff coordinated a tasting with the chef for my husband and I. Chef prepared a delicious tasting and helped us make our final food and wine choices. At the reception, we received endless compliments from our guests on the filet and mahi mahi. If I was to start over right now and plan another wedding, I would go right back to Hotel Alba.

When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. Leading up to the day of the wedding we knew we wanted our focus to be on each other and God and walking into the day we knew we could confidently do that because of Britt and the way she serves others on their special day with excellence. If you’re not just looking for a venue but a family who cares about you and your day, then you should stop looking because you’ve found it with the Colonial at Sunset and their amazing team.

This was the best find out of all the wedding process. Cindy and her venue were amazing. Super kind, fantastic service and worked really hard to make our dreams come too. We were on a really tight budget but monarch Meadows is stunning and affordable. Alot is included in the price. Even if I had all the budget in the world for our wedding, I would still have chosen this venue. Thank you Cindy for everything!
