“Gen is the most kind, uplifting person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with for my wedding. As a bride I didn’t want to add another stress to my plate, and Gen handled everything with grace. I met her a couple of years ago. I worked with her husband and that’s how we were introduced. Now, he works by her side doing videography. They have such a good, balanced chemistry that makes them so great at what they do. We chose them because we were familiar with their work, they were willing to travel, and had a very reasonable total price with a payment installments option. I booked the largest package Gen had that included a boudoir shoot, rehearsal time, the ENTIRE wedding day, and travel all the way to North Carolina. As far as taking photos, I just wanted to be comfortable. My husband and I aren’t great in front of a camera and we don’t take pictures very often. Gen especially built my confidence a lot during the boudoir shoot. I had never done anything like that before. Communication was easy. We texted a lot, had a couple of in person meetings and went into good details about my family and what to avoid or what to focus on. She even worked on her own with my wedding coordinator to nail down the day-of details! The biggest thing that stood out to me was the way she handled my downpour of a wedding day - It rained almost the entire wedding day. Everything was outdoors. We had a rain tent for the ceremony chairs and the reception was a covered open air pavilion. She handled it with grace, came up with creative ways to take our photos (her rain jacket was a lifesaver I’m sure) and we managed to do the entire first look and wedding party photos quickly in between bands of rain. We even made it completely on-schedule. Our family portraits post-ceremony were also taken in the rain with umbrellas but we somehow managed! For the final photos I must say I absolutely loved the vibrant colors and how everything looked so real. Some photographers have styles that use a lot of filters and beige-like colors. Gen doesn’t do that at all. Her photos were all focused, clear, and she even paid attention to details while shooting and had me make adjustments to my poses (I told her I don’t like my ears showing so she would help fix my hair and stuff). Her editing skills are also very good. I know I made an amazing choice choosing Gen for our best day ever. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her if you’re looking for someone to stick it out with you and take your stress away. I love her and her family, they are just the best. Thank you Gen for being so awesome at what you do!”

“Dani not only helped us find our elopement spot in Colorado but she was so helpful in structuring our plans. We had our air bnb for a week and she had flowers and photos placed in there to make us feel at home. It was so sweet. “When I say that our photos had us laughing, crying and screaming (in the most excited and happy way), I am not exaggerating. And the pictures were just part of it. Not only did Kylie deliver stunning galleries, but she curated a whole experience. Right from our first phone call, Kylie made us feel both excited and at ease, which was a theme throughout our time working with her. We had the pleasure of working with Kylie for both our engagement shoot and wedding. When she arrived to the engagement shoot, she brought allll the happy energy and creativity, despite it being like 6 AM on a chilly morning at the beach. She immediately made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera than I thought was possible, and then proceeded to ask us really thoughtful questions about what kind of posing we preferred, which meant a lot to us as a queer couple where assumptions could have been made… Kylie was incredibly quick with the editing and had our gallery back to us the next day, and our photos were literal treasures. She captured our personalities so well. They were a far cry from the stale, cookie-cutter engagement photos I see on instagram all the time. Before the wedding, Kylie provided two calls and made herself available for any questions that came up in between. She worked with our wedding planner to make sure our day-of timeline would run smoothly and that we’d get all the pictures we wanted. By the time the wedding came, we were excited to introduce all of our friends to Kylie and see what magic she would work. She was confident, calming and encouraging the whole day and even handled a delicate family dynamic beautifully.
