“Merida is, simply put, absolutely amazing. When we first started planning our wedding, we spent a lot of time going back and forth about whether or not we needed a day-of coordinator. We’re both queer and trans, I’m autistic, and my partner is disabled, so finding vendors who really saw us and could meet us where we were at was hugely important. Merida did that and so much more and now that our wedding is over, we literally don’t know what we would have done without her. She’s excellent at reading people, communicating super clearly, and solving truly any problem. Even though we only booked day-of coordination, as we got closer to the day, she was there for all the crucial moments even when we didn’t ask her to. Aside from the big things (running the rehearsal, managing the timeline, communicating with vendors, setting up, tearing down, steaming our outfits AND our wedding party’s outfits, and on and on…) (all of which would have been MORE than enough), it is the little details where Merida truly goes above and beyond. When my partner was wildly over-stimulated while getting ready, she offered them a hug. When we were misgendered and we weren’t in the room, she corrected people. At the end of the night when we were both exhausted, she went outside and pulled my partner’s car around to the front door and THEN proceeded to load everything in. When I was waiting outside while my partner took some group photos with their friends, she LITERALLY gave me the coat off her back without me even asking (and it was 25 degrees at night and she was wearing a sleeveless jumpsuit). During our first look, she carried around our two giant winter coats and our two huge Squishmallows (that we wanted on hand for pictures) and never for a moment considered putting anything down in case it got dirty. She held our snow machine at the precise angle so we could get the snowy nighttime photos of our dreams, she bought hand warmers for our ceremony without us even asking her to, she took photos on her phone during our ceremony and sent them to us so we could have photos ASAP, she adjusted my dress I don’t even know how many times, and, to top it all off, she was so kind and good-humored the whole day. Our friends and family raved about her and how well she answered all of their questions and how on top of it she was. I literally don’t know how she did all of these things. My working theory is she has a secret identical twin and can therefore be in two places at once, although frankly even two people doesn’t seem like enough. (Maybe secret identical triplets?) In any case, there is no rating system in the world that would let us give Merida enough stars; five is nowhere near enough. We would hire her a thousand times over, and a thousand more times after that.”

On the technical side of things, she managed the audio equipment for the instrumentalists at our ceremony, configured the A/V system at our reception (separate location!), set up our photo booth, and worked a film camera (would you believe that she only has two arms?) all while keeping the party kept going! My wife and I didn’t need to lift a finger. And if I haven’t conveyed it already, Gemma is really, really thoughtful. We’re super lucky for her to have been at our wedding.”

“My wife and I cannot recommend Gabriella enough! We met Gabriella at my best friends wedding a few years ago when she was their photographer and loved her! Since then, we’ve been able to establish a wonderful relationship with Gabriella as she did our engagement photos (which were STUNNING) and helped us with all things planning for the wedding! Gabriella was so helpful in creating the timeline for our wedding, sharing vendor recommendations, and honestly just overall calming any nerves we had leading up to the wedding! Gabriella goes above and beyond her job as a photographer. When she first photographed my best friend’s wedding, Gabriella actually helped myself and the other bridesmaids with getting dressed/last minute touch ups. Gabriella and I also had bonded about our love of all things Taylor Swift. When she shot our engagement photos, Gabriella blasted Taylor the entire time to help us feel even more comfortable behind the camera! Unfortunately, my wife broke her ankle badly right before the wedding, and was in a boot and on a scooter on the day of. Not only did Gabriella adapt, she also offered a complimentary session once my wife is healed! On the wedding day, Gabriella and her team were so supportive and flexible given my wife’s injury and her ability to take photos. They literally carried her scooter on a golf cart across the venue grounds so we could get the shot! Just a couple examples of how above and beyond she and her team went throughout our entire experience working with her. On our wedding day, we were honestly as excited to see Gabriella as we were our guests- she felt like a friend at that point, and she gives off the kindest, warmest and most positive vibe. Her team on the day of was wonderful- Gabriella, Sarah, and Sam documented the day so beautifully and were prepared and calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire day! Our package included mobile videos taken throughout the day which were SO perfect to document little moments and look back on and share with friends and family! We also have an anniversary session with Gabriella included with we are so excited about!! We have and will continue to recommend Gabriella to anyone and everyone!”

“Amber is an absolutely amazing makeup artist and all around person. It was so wonderful to have her do my makeup for my wedding. She created varied looks for myself and the bridesmaids who each had our own tastes, and that makeup did not come off despite humidity, dancing, and sweating! We did a trial together before the wedding day, which was almost perfect. I gave her a few minor notes and she nailed it for the actual wedding day! Amber is responsive, professional, and so friendly. Her wonderful personality made the morning of my wedding fun and relaxing. “Cristina was such a dream to work with! She was so thoughtful and helpful as we worked with her. She let us see her studio space and show us arrangements and pieces in person and was so flexible. Whenever we asked questions, she answered them promptly and worked with us. “I hired Kelsey for my November 2024 wedding and she and her team exceeded my expectations. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good my hair and makeup looked the day of my wedding. I was admittedly nervous scheduling my trial because I realized the salon is not in Philly, but in Quakertown, which was about an hour drive. However, when I met Kelsey, I was reminded of why I booked in the first place - her personality is so warm and welcoming, funny, and puts you at ease immediately. I had the same exact reaction the morning of my wedding. I received hair and makeup services and my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG had their hair styled by Kelsey's associate. I thought everyone looked gorgeous and as this was one of the more expensive vendors I paid for myself, I did feel like my money was well spent. If you like full, full coverage with heavy foundation, etc I don't think this is the vendor for you. However, I think what Kelsey did with my makeup was even better because it looked so natural, but still looked like I was wearing the right amount of makeup. On top of my hair and makeup already looking perfect in my opinion, it happened to be snowing/freezing rain the day of my wedding and all of our photos were taken outside. My makeup did not budge! I touched up my lip gloss that was about it. My curls fell slightly because of the rain, but I was still very impressed my hairstyle lasted at all because of the weather. Overall, if you're on the fence about whether you'd like a professional to do your hair or makeup for your wedding, I would highly recommend someone like Kelsey who will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself and take the stress out of doing it yourself.”
