I didn't know it at first, but photography has often been a meaningful part of my life. My dad's prints of birds at the Audubon Zoo hung in our bathrooms, and I often wondered how he took them. By the time I was in high school, I regularly had a disposable in my pocket. It was exciting to capture those brief moments and the people in them, and still so to be able to look back.
