Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Our mission is to be good stewards of our family land, growing the best wine possible for our region. When you visit our estate winery, which is also our home, you will be welcomed by our family and our long-time, knowledgeable staff who are also our friends. We collectively aim to create a wine focused experience in a fun and educational way for guests with any level of wine knowledge to enjoy. It is our hope that is your experience. All of our events are intended to create a local community that offers a fun, responsible wine centric experience. This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.

Vintner’s Pavilion is capable of seating 150 guests comfortably for up to a 5-hour reception and 1/2 hour ceremony. Use of the Wine House which includes a mahogany wine bar, restrooms, and additional seating area 4 large fire-pits with seating and gas tiki torch lighting throughout the courtyard provides incredibly dazzling lighting after sunset. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.
