This venue is a private, member-run social club, located in historic Glendale. It was founded in 1883 to promote higher education and literacy, musical and social entertainment for its members. The Glendale Lyceum can accommodate up to 250 guests. Our elegant grounds offer various set up options for your special day. With both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, you can choose the perfect space to match your vision. Services Offered: Glendale Lyceum partners with All Occasions Rentals to provide you with endless linen and decor options for your day. We provide you with a Required Caterer List for you to choose from. We also provide venue coordination services to ensure all the details are taken care of such as vendor needs, deliveries and timeline of events. The Oscar Event Center and The Oscar Station both offer a one of a kind experience. The Oscar Event Center's Spacious ballroom and lounge areas offer rustic and elegant decor. With wood, brick walls, exposed beams, and high ceilings. The Oscar Station offers a more industrial look showcasing a stunning hand crafted bar, open air patio and a beautifully landscaped lawn area. Both spaces offer additional accents that will make either "Oscar" the perfect setting. The Oscar Station and The Oscar Event Center can be booked separately or together. Formerly St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, originally built in 1850. The building was deconsecrated in 1974. That same year the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, The Verdin Company, North America's oldest bell and clock company, purchased historic St. Paul's Church. The beautiful building housed The Verdin Company corporate headquarters and the Verdin Bell and Clock Museum. In the late 1990's, The Bell Event Centre was created in St. Paul's Church. Featuring hand-painted murals, marble, stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, terrazzo flooring, & a cobblestone courtyard, this spectacular venue made for an unrivaled setting for events. Christy Cafeo & her family were presented the opportunity to purchase The Bell Event Centre in 2008 & has been creating memorable events ever since. Our venue began in 1928. The historic building was home to The Mt. Lookout Theater. People have been entertained in the space for generations. In 2007 we gave the entire interior fresh start choosing to bring the space back to it's original open layout with a nod to it's Art Deco past.
