Milepost 1808 Wedding Venue and Events was an incredible choice for our wedding. From the beginning, Jaime and her team were incredibly communicative, answering all of our questions quickly and efficiently. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - we were blown away when we first toured it, as it was much more affordable than the other venues we had looked at that wanted three times as much. Milepost 1808 included so much more in their package, like tables, chairs, and linens, that we couldn't have gotten elsewhere. They were also very flexible, allowing us to use their bridal suite and inventory as needed. Jaime and her team truly went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. We are so grateful we chose Milepost 1808 and highly recommend it to any couple planning their wedding.

We highly recommend The oaks to any newly engaged couple looking for the perfect venue. The manager is super professional and so sweet. She was easy to get along with and super helpful with recommendations for vendors. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has multiple spots for ceremonies. It’s very roomy. We had over 200 people present and still had plenty of room. The only downfall was the tiny bridal suite BUT i decided to get ready with the girls at our home and I highly recommend that over any bridal suite!

The Court Street Livery is a restored barn in downtown Washington, Georgia. It is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners and just about any event you can imagine. The big red barn has great details from the past including a soaring heart pine ceiling, brick walls, awesome lighting, a outdoor patio, and a huge open space with four wooden posts. You’ll have access to the barn for the whole day. You can take your time setting up because we rent the Livery for only one event each weekend and you may come in the day before for decorating and set-up at no extra cost. We're largely a “DIY” facility which can make our venue very budget friendly. You'll provide the ideas, decorations and set-up. The Livery is beautiful even with very few decorations. You will choose your own caterer/planner. The Livery has a full catering kitchen. We have a few tables but you'll need to rent additional equipment (chairs, tableware, sound system, etc.). The Corry House is named after the Corry family that settled the land in the late 1700's. That same family built the house in 1869, and continues to own the land to this day, ten generations later. After meeting and marrying in Greenville in 1989, Drs. Bo and Ruby Cheves moved to Bo's family farm in Union Point, Georgia. Here, they began the work of remodeling the 150-year-old farmhouse and surrounding grounds. As their two kids grew older, Bo and Ruby decided to build a new house overlooking the Ogeechee River further back on the property in 2007. With the help of Erin and Stanton Porter, The Corry House held its first wedding in 2010. At that time, we didn't have our reception barn or the meadow and forest wedding sites. Folks got married in the garden or in front of the farmhouse. After a few years of weddings, Bo and Ruby decided to run with it and built our temperature-controlled barn in 2014.
