“I can not recommend Jillian enough. She is easy to work with, kind, gentle, very knowledgeable, creative, flexible, and extremely supportive. We used a dingy boat as our "arbor". Jillian was creative and extremely supportive in figuring out how to affix the flowers to the boat. Additionally, when I decided to do cake centerpieces, Jillian was flexible with changing the plan to bud vases. She recommended adding greenery to the table which brought the whole look together. Not to mention that the flowers she sources last so long!! Over a week and a half after the wedding the flowers looked as good as day 1! I feel so lucky that I encountered Jillian in my wedding planning process. She is simply the best!”

“In 2020, my then-fiancé and I decided to elope four hours away from home in the mountains of New Hampshire! I knew that I wanted a bouquet (and to still feel like a bride) but I wasn’t sure how that would hold up in transport. After consulting with Holly at Seascape Florals, she recommended going with a bouquet of silk flowers and greenery. “Sweet as honey floral was excellent to work with for an elopement photo shoot. I am a wedding photographer and we gave her minimal guidance like "neutrals and not too tight" haha but even with limited instructions, she NAILED it! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and better than what I had hoped for. She even made a floral pocket square (p.s. consider this instead of boutonniere's! I didn't really know what I wanted at first, and she took a look at my pinterest board I made and talked me through everything. “You don’t come across someone with this much dedication, passion, craftsmanship, knowledge, and genuine love for their art often. Ashley is truly gifted in all things florals, and every piece she made for me, including my trials, had my jaw drop and moved my family to tears. She puts her heart into every flower she tends to, and you can see it in the intricacies of her work. She’s an artist, and these are her little masterpieces. I’ve grown to respect florals on a new level thanks to her. She knows so much about each flower (even their science names!), how to pair textures, coordinate colors, balance shapes and sizes—she’s making a work of art. So in terms of honoring your vision and creating something magical, trust Ashley with your whole heart. Now comes to the administrative work. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ashley more, she created slide deck presentations (oh yes, you read that right) on what I was looking for/my inspo, provided updated proposals every time I added something new to my ask, triple-checked any time I made a change, and was extremely communicative, professional, and responsive. My fastest vendor when it came to email. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t an easy client. I went from having no wedding party to having 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I went from no ceremony florals to decorating the whole aisle. (I couldn’t help myself since Ashley has such reasonable prices I could actually afford my dream florals, but also once again, my trials were so beautiful, I couldn’t resist). I changed colors, visions, ideas, and emailed her more times than I can count over the course of many months, and Ashley followed it to a T and kept track of it all. Ashley showed up to a walkthrough at my venue that was super far just to get to know the space and guide where florals would work best, taking notes, asking questions, and going above and beyond. She didn't need to do that for us. She did anyway. She kept up with all my asks and updates flawlessly. And on the day, she nailed every single item from boutonniere to bud vase. Side notes: I had a rosary blessed by the Pope for my wedding, and Ashley handled it with such respect, integrity, and reverence. That says a lot about a person. My mom, who has worked in florals and crafts for a long time, was speechless when she saw the work Ashley created. When she looked at the internal workings and weaving, she noted just how much time she must have spent handcrafting my floral crown. When I was walking out with my trial bouquet, I literally had a stranger stop me in my tracks to ask where on Earth I got such beautiful florals and if he can get some himself. Every time we met, Ashley would bring a little bouquet for me, which was such a cute gesture. I secretly dried all of them to keep. And finally, Ashley herself. She is caring, tender, sweet, creative, and extremely hardworking. We believe she is blessed by God Himself lol. (But actually, though. She has a gift.) Her talent is unbelievable. I had a special request for a floral crown, and it was THE talk of the night. People would come over and poke it because they couldn’t believe it was real. Ultimately, if there were more vendors like Ashley, there would be much happier, less stressed brides in the world.
