We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner at Bistro Seven Three. Their unique indoor/outdoor space provided a fancy yet private setting for our special event. The staff was very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, promptly answering our questions and accommodating our menu requests for the rehearsal dinner. On the event day itself, the servers were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure everything went perfectly. The open layout was perfect for our 50 guest count, providing an intimate vibe while allowing guests to mingle freely across the indoor and outdoor areas. We appreciated that Bistro Seven Three offers a BYOB policy, allowing us to provide our own specialty drinks to match our dinner menu. Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

We got married at The Mansion on Aug 10th and there are insufficient characters in this review box to capture our gratitude for what an impeccable place this was to get married. We initially chose the venue for ease of the location (we live a few blocks away). I hoped the food would be good, since we couldn't do a tasting, and just trusted it would all work out. THESE PEOPLE BLEW ME AWAY. The staff is awesome, from the Matre D, to the Bridal Attendant, to all the ways Jim and Nancy helped us tend to ever detail of the event, it was the most perfect day. The food was so delicious. Our guests are still talking to us about it weeks later. The cocktail hour was incredible. The main course was the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh, and so delicious. My only regret of my wedding was that I didn't eat more than just a few bites of everything. I woke up the next morning craving the rest of my filet mignon, lol. We went with the "minimum" of everything included because we were on a budget, but it was all so abundant, generous and tasty. Even the dessert platters that came with the meal were amazingly delicious. The space itself is luxurious and beautiful. We had the whole venue to ourselves and the whole thing was just magical.

Camp Sacajawea was the best decision we made while wedding planning! We knew we didn’t want a standard ball room wedding but never could have imagined a venue as cool as Camp Sacajawea. The day we saw it we knew it was for us. The staff was super kind and helpful! The ambiance is eclectic and lends its self to so many possibilities, they even have a bunch of decor other couples have donate following their events to pay it forward to the next couple! You can use any vendors you want to make your event exactly as you wish! They even offer lawn games and, archery / axe throwing for events. We also came from out of state and they were super flexible/ supportive to make sure we were comfortable. Don’t hesitate if you’re interested, worth every penny! All our guests are raving about how much fun they had !

We got nothing but rave reviews. The staff ensures that everything goes to plan, you absolutely do not need a wedding coordinator if you get married here. As the bride at the Park Savoy, I can say I actually felt like royalty or the first lady on wedding day, but they also take care of you during the entire planning process to keep you organized. Not only do the staff provide top notch service, but they’re all so kind, you walk out of there feeling like friends. Planning our wedding from Charleston, SC, Daniel and I had to be strategic with our venue tours and wedding coordination. The North Shore House was the first venue we planned to visit on a weekend trip home. From the moment we drove through the gorgeous grounds gate, we were hooked. Eric met us at the door and gave us a walkthrough of the estate. He was very professional, thorough, light-hearted, and honest. He had all the answers to any question we posed. After leaving, we made it half through our next venue tour, and knew we had already found the place for us at the North Shore House. We got engaged in November, booked the North Shore House in January, and recently held our event on September 9th. A majority of our coordination meetings, we were able to hold remotely (which saved a few plane rides for us) Everytime we came to visit for a bridal expo, tasting, and then later our 30 day pre-wedding meeting, the grounds became lush and more beautiful than we remembered. It truly is a gorgeous venue. We had the pleasure of working with the entire team—from Louise and Eric, to Kelly, Molly, and Emma. It truly was a group effort. The platform that they use “Planning Pods” makes it easy to communicate all needs and unanswered prompts with clear deadlines. It’s a great tool to keep planning needs organized. The food was impeccable! Ken made the BEST recommendations! I have celiac disease, and the whole kitchen staff made accommodations to ensure all guests with allergies were able to enjoy the food. I’ll be thinking about Michelle’s gluten-free cupcakes for years to come! I have to take the rest of my review to praise Kelly Koster, who was our day-of coordinator. I could NOT have stayed as calm as I had without her guidance. The forecast for our wedding day was less than ideal, scattered storms in the area. All that I wanted for the past ten months was to get married alongside that gorgeous lake. Kelly and the team watched the storm tracker, and kept us updated on our options. She presented alternatives with a very matter-of-fact attitude, ensuring that it was our decision (which made it hard because I was talking to my husband through other people.) The whole team scrambled to move our ceremony a half hour earlier and ultimately, we moved the cocktail hour inside. As I walked down the aisle, a very dramatic windstorm blew through, my veil flew even off of my head! We all watched as the sky turned from blue to grey in the most dramatic way. It was a ceremony for the books. Not a drop of rain fell until the last guest entered the venue for cocktail hour. I could not have imagined our wedding to have been anywhere else. From the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding, accommodations, food, day-of coordinator, the North Shore House provided exactly what we NEEDED for our day. It truly is the best one-stop shop. We are forever grateful of the memories this venue has given us. We plan to come back every year for our anniversary dinner! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

As much as I hated planning a wedding, I would do it all over again because of the dedication and care that Lake Valhalla Club gives to your day.

The venue space was absolutely beautiful, and all of our guests raved about it. They really went above and beyond to make sure we stayed informed and on task on our busy wedding day - they even brought us a selection of hors d'oeuvres to the bridal suite so we could enjoy a quiet moment together during cocktail hour. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

Liberty Hall Museum helped to make my Mid-September wedding an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in front of the lush apple orchard, our cocktail hour around the rose garden that was still blooming and our reception under the tent. We utilized the Carriage House during cocktail hour and for dessert. Liberty Hall staff, as always, was warm, helpful, accommodating and so, so patient. There was never an issue and they were quick to fix anything before it was noticed. Our photographer was so excited about all the different opportunities for unique and beautiful photos throughout the grounds, over the course of the evening. I have a hard time finding the words that truly express what an amazing location Liberty Hall is. Almost 5 years later my husband and I are still receiving compliments about our wedding day.
