Construction on Mistletoe Bough began in 1890 but wasn't completed until 1895. The town banker had the vision to build the grandest home in Alexander City. Raising four boys and one girl, Ruben Herzfeld and his wife Julia built Mistletoe Bough with the perfect combination of elegance and comfort. Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest. There is plenty of room in a covered pavilion and around the swimming pools for a reception for about 300. We include tables & chairs but couples can choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, bartender, etc. for maximum flexibility though our on site wedding designer can assist and handle rentals if desired. This magnificent Georgian-style home was built in 1914 for Cornelius Vanderbilt Truitt, a financier, and businessperson, by P. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. In 1937, the house was purchased by Nasour and Mary Mansour, the first generation of dry goods merchants known regionally for their Mansour’s Department Stores, first in LaGrange and then in other major cities in the region. Brunson Farms is a picturesque wedding venue located just outside Rainbow City in Alabama. This stunning estate boasts over 130 acres of idyllic indoor and outdoor space for couples to hold unforgettable milestone celebrations. This versatile location can easily be transformed to fit soon-to-be-weds individual visions for a range of wedding-related events. The team at the venue is more than happy to host pre-wedding parties and showers, as well as the ceremony and reception on the day.

Cove Acre Farms was a working livestock farm for much of the 20th century, and still bears the character of those years. It was transformed into an event venue in 2014 by the Wright family. The Johnson family purchased the farm in early 2018 and have since turned it to one of the most unique wedding barns in Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a clear creek that flows through the property year round. The barn is approximately 14,000 square feet including two large, open balconies. The lower level includes bride and groom rooms with private baths. You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. The barn offers a large room downstairs, and a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage upstairs for indoor events. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or one of several creek-side settings.

For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.
