“Heather and Jay were incredible to work with. I truly cannot thank them enough. Heather did full decor for my whole wedding weekend. I had an Indian wedding so there were TONS of design needs (frankly more than I thought), and Heather accommodated every request and was so helpful through all the planning. We would have check-in phone calls, and she would walk us through spreadsheets with every tiny decor detail recorded. She was also very helpful with planning and was upfront about everything, gave us options to work through any budgeting/feasibility concerns, and helped with a lot of that wedding decision fatigue. Her husband Jay was instrumental in some of the more elaborate things we asked for, like balconies draped in greenery and a mandap stage. They did two site visits with us for our peace of mind so we could get every detail hammered out. Heather also made lots of great suggestions when I was out of my depth and coordinated with our venue. On the weekend of, I saw her once or twice but otherwise just trusted her absolutely to execute. And the actual decor! It was BEAUTIFUL. She turned our reception hall and outdoor wedding tent into a lush, colourful flower wonderland. We had a rustic barn onsite, and she draped the roof with poms and disco balls. She also used bright colours and dried flowers to brighten the indoors. Her husband Jay custom built us wooden pools for a Hindi haldi ceremony. Our wedding mandap was covered in beautiful roses, and it was magical to get married under. Each space felt distinct and memorable but all beautiful crafted. I could tell a lot of love and thought went into every part. Do not hesitate to book with Cullen Creations. You are in incredible hands. As a bride, I worried and hoped that my vendors would treat my special day which as much care as I was putting in. With Heather, I never had a doubt. She made all my needs feel heard and ultimately made magic happen.”

Ashley is truly gifted in all things florals, and every piece she made for me, including my trials, had my jaw drop and moved my family to tears. She puts her heart into every flower she tends to, and you can see it in the intricacies of her work. She’s an artist, and these are her little masterpieces. I’ve grown to respect florals on a new level thanks to her. She knows so much about each flower (even their science names!), how to pair textures, coordinate colors, balance shapes and sizes—she’s making a work of art. So in terms of honoring your vision and creating something magical, trust Ashley with your whole heart. Now comes to the administrative work. My fastest vendor when it came to email. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t an easy client. I went from having no wedding party to having 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I went from no ceremony florals to decorating the whole aisle. (I couldn’t help myself since Ashley has such reasonable prices I could actually afford my dream florals, but also once again, my trials were so beautiful, I couldn’t resist). I changed colors, visions, ideas, and emailed her more times than I can count over the course of many months, and Ashley followed it to a T and kept track of it all. Ashley showed up to a walkthrough at my venue that was super far just to get to know the space and guide where florals would work best, taking notes, asking questions, and going above and beyond. She didn't need to do that for us. She did anyway. She kept up with all my asks and updates flawlessly. And on the day, she nailed every single item from boutonniere to bud vase. Side notes: I had a rosary blessed by the Pope for my wedding, and Ashley handled it with such respect, integrity, and reverence. That says a lot about a person. My mom, who has worked in florals and crafts for a long time, was speechless when she saw the work Ashley created. When she looked at the internal workings and weaving, she noted just how much time she must have spent handcrafting my floral crown. When I was walking out with my trial bouquet, I literally had a stranger stop me in my tracks to ask where on Earth I got such beautiful florals and if he can get some himself. Every time we met, Ashley would bring a little bouquet for me, which was such a cute gesture. I secretly dried all of them to keep. And finally, Ashley herself. She is caring, tender, sweet, creative, and extremely hardworking. We believe she is blessed by God Himself lol. (But actually, though. She has a gift.) Her talent is unbelievable. I had a special request for a floral crown, and it was THE talk of the night. People would come over and poke it because they couldn’t believe it was real. Ultimately, if there were more vendors like Ashley, there would be much happier, less stressed brides in the world. And if there were more people like Ashley in general, the world would be a better place. I will miss her. Enjoy her and her florals for me. Let them take your breath away, they will.”

She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some. “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner.
