What started out with a fascination that I could make something rise with a few ingredients transformed into how could I make this cake taste amazing and look beautiful. After taking a cake decorating class one summer, I found myself hooked and learned a tremendous amount.

I began 12 years ago, when it occurred to me to make my older daughter’s cake in her first year, that day in the kitchen I found my passion. I enjoyed baking and decorating so much that I didn’t stop there. I took many baking and decorating classes for many years, and I went growing in this sweet world.
