UW Botanic Gardens has two beautiful spaces to offer. The first, located at the Center for Urban Horticulture. The second, located at the Washington Park Arboretum. The Kirkland Woman's Club is located across from Kirkland City Hall in their original historic building. In its early days, the building also housed the original Kirkland Library and a Baby Wellness Clinic. It is listed on the State of Washington Historical Register and the National Registry of Historic Places, as well as the King County Historic Preservation Program. In addition to providing a gracious setting for our various Club activities, the facility is available to rent for such functions as wedding receptions, memorial services, or recurring business meetings. It accommodates up to 99 guests, and features a concert-sized Steinway grand piano, perfect for music recitals or receptions.

Nestled amongst thirty tranquil acres of our lush wooded private property, The Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a strikingly serene and cherished micro-wedding or elopement. We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. In 1939 the Works Progress Administration built a timbered A-frame gymnasium of local stone and timbers - the beautiful structure that would later become the Longbranch Clubhouse. When the school district consolidated to a larger site, the Longbranch Improvement Club purchased the land and buildings. In 1956 rest rooms, upgraded kitchen facilities and a wooden floor were added. The Longbranch Clubhouse has held an astonishing variety of activities in its colorful history. High school basketball, wartime bandage rolling, huckleberry festivals, fund-raisers, basket socials, Sunday schools and funerals - along with the popular dances and theater events that formed the foundation of this community's social life for generations.

Located in the foothills of the Cascades mountains above beautiful Skykomish Valley, our golf course was originally built in the 1900s as Blue Boy Ranch, a successful thoroughbred training facility. The ranch was converted into a golf course in 1992, and we have since grown to be one of the most popular courses in the area. The golf course is named after the pig in the movie “State Fair”.

We offer a unique picturesque setting that are guaranteed to make your day spectacular. We are confident that Parsons will be the perfect backdrop to your wedding. Perfectly tailored for a rustic theme, but upscaled enough to impress your guests. Facility rentals are available year-round with limited availability for weddings based on Rental and Program calendars. We can accommodate groups of 25 to 400. At least one overnight stay required for wedding events. Cabins are rustic, dorm-style, with 4 to 10 beds per room and separate bathhouses. Many buildings are heated and all within walking distance of the main hall, but some are open-air enclosed cabins. Our event spaces are large and suitable for big group meetings and activities. Outdoor ceremonies can be held throughout the grounds or in the main hall. Our 4,000-sf main dining hall has a large commercial kitchen.The in-floor heating system retains heat in the event of a winter power outage.

Lake Lawrence Community was once called “Edwards Pavilion” was established in 1923 by Louie Armstrong and Amber Reichel. All logs to build the lodge were felled from off the lake property itself and the fireplace was erected by Frank Noreen from Deschutes Falls. It took about one year to completed the building. This became an extension of Edwards Resort, a fishing a recreational getaway, here on Lake Lawrence. Afterwards many dances were held in the building. In 1973 the over 50-year-old resort closed, and the camping era came to an end. The resort property is now enjoyed by many private property homeowners. The playground, swimming area, and Edwards Pavilion became part of the Lake Lawrence Community Club, which still maintains these facilities for the benefit of their members. The lodge is also available to the community at large for all types of events to include weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, and any other event.

Capitol City Barn is a new 4,600 sq. ft. barn that offers an indoor/outdoor experience; a space for the wedding party to prepare; a warming kitchen for caterers; beautiful outdoor patios, gardens and a stone alter, plus many more amenities. Their vision is respected and encouraged- we are just there to make their dreams come true! This also allows for each couple to express their style and allows us to fit in where needed.
