Choosing second song as our DJ service for our wedding was the best decision we could have made!! The team is so accommodating and made the process of choosing our DJ so easy. After choosing second song, they allowed us to set up phone calls to interview DJ's to find the perfect fit for us. We ended up choosing DJ Daniel Cabral. Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! They are everything you could want from a DJ service and more!! If you are looking for a DJ service, second song is the way to go!!!!

DJ Diego was one of our favourite vendors at our wedding. He was reliable and so chill to work with. Diego was amazing at setting the exact vibes we were hoping for during every part of the reception, from cocktail hour to dinner to the dance floor, and he somehow kept the party going all evening without a single lull. Guests came up to us throughout the night with glowing compliments for Diego. One of our guests who hates dancing and loves cake said Diego was so good that she missed the cake because she didn’t want to leave the dance floor. Something that also stood out to me was Diego’s thoughtfulness - I asked my sister to request Roses by Outkast, and my sister told me that Diego made sure to confirm that the bride was the one making the request before playing it (I guess it’s a diss track). Diego is the best wedding DJ we could have ever asked for. We’ve attended two weddings since our own, and at both, mutual guests commented that they wished Diego were the DJ (including a wedding over a year later). We wholeheartedly recommend Diego, and Hawaii is so incredibly lucky to have him!

The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!

Modern Highway was absolutely FANTASTIC at our wedding! Their setlist of 80s, 90s, and 2000s hits had everyone on their feet all night. Christina’s voice is unforgettable, and their rendition of "How Far We’ve Come" by Matchbox 20, a song very special to our family, was particularly memorable. I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.

Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.

We have a team of Elite level DJs that each have a minimum of 25 years of experience as a DJ and MC. We specialize in weddings, corporate events and nightclubs. We also offer bilingual MC services in Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin.

We booked twinspin as our DJ and Photo Booths. DJ 4.5/5 We recently had our wedding and decided to hire Twin Spin Entertainment, which came recommended by our venue. While the owner, Young, was already booked, he introduced us to James, one of his experienced DJs. Our initial meeting with James went smoothly, and we felt confident moving forward with him and Twin Spin. The booking process was straightforward and easily managed through their website's client portal. The client portal also had very thorough questions such as laying out the specific songs for our ceremony, grand entrance, and first dance, etc. The client portal was also how we communicated which songs were on our do-not-play list, ceremony, dinner, and dancing. James arrived early to have everything set up and by the time our ceremony rolled around everything and everyone was ready to go. James did a great job both as an MC and DJ. While there were a couple of minor hiccups with timeline and announcements, he handled them well, keeping the flow of the event smooth. Since we had a lot of our older Asian guests, the dance floor wasn’t always packed, but we appreciated how James kept the energy up and mixed the music to appeal to everyone. The sound quality was great, and there were no major technical issues. All the microphones, speakers, and lights worked perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with Twin Spin and James, and we would definitely recommend them for any wedding or special event! Photo Booth 4.5/5 We knew we wanted to have a photobooth in our August 2024 wedding as it’s always a fun activity having attended previous weddings. Twin Spin offered this option along with their DJ services, and we selected them knowing that it would streamline and alleviate working with multiple vendors. We found their pricing reasonable after comparing other photobooth vendors. On the day of our wedding, the photobooth attendant came early to setup. She wrapped up early and our start and end time was 6-10pm which was a bit early than the original 6:30-10:30pm time. Overall the attendant was cordial and assisted our guests during use. There were slight miscommunications regarding meal and setup time, but otherwise our expectations were met. Twin Spin was able to explain and clarify this miscommunication and we provided feedback for communication for future clients. The photos turned out well, and we hope our guests took advantage of the service. The only feedback we received from our guests was that setup time was a bit slow, which we learned that it was the attendant’s first time setting up. Our vendor had good communication and responded quickly regarding our photobooth selection and receiving the photos.
