Nesselrod on the New is a 13-acre estate in the heart of the New River Valley. Overlooking the historic New River, Nesselrod offers the perfect combination of privacy while being minutes from everything you would need. Built in 1939, the house features a cozy Bed & Breakfast and several outdoor venues to host your wedding. Nesselrod on the New has several advantages compared to other wedding venues. We offer rooms for the wedding party and/or family to stay in, we are located close to restaurants, stores, golf courses, and Universities. Sinkland Farms is a wedding venue located in Christiansburg, Virginia. Beginning as a dairy farm, this pastoral paradise has since been transformed into a premier events space by Susan Sink and her family. The Sink family is proud to host some of the county’s finest family gatherings, and the farm was awarded Best of Virginia 2018 by Virginia Living Magazine. Our wedding venue is unique because the ceremony, reception, and lodging overlook the beautiful Roaring River. You are just a few feet from the river at all times. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.
