Our venue began as a cattle and horse ranch. In 2015, a friend's wedding request transformed our barn into a premier wedding site. We offer a warm, inviting atmosphere on our 54-acre ranch. Our elegant event hall features chandeliers, heating, and air conditioning. We provide various settings for ceremonies and receptions, including a patio and outdoor locations. Our bridal suite offers dual showers, a kitchen, and makeup stations. The gentlemen enjoy a man cave with a TV, pool table, poker table, and lounge area. Beyond weddings, we support the community through fundraisers, school banquets, and an annual event offering free weddings to local military and first responders. We are located on the Bolivar Peninsula, just a short ferry ride from Galveston, only one block from the beach. We are a unique, family-owned and -operated wedding and event venue located on 10 acres, just 5 miles East of The Woodlands. Lone Star Hall, our existing barn, has a familiar dance hall feel and our amazing outdoor space feels like your own backyard. San Jacinto Hall, our brand-new modern farmhouse, can accommodate up to 225 guests and has an amazing back porch overlooking a grassy courtyard and the pond! Rentals range from Venue Only up to All-Inclusive or can be customized to anywhere in between. Alcohol must be purchased through the venue, but other than that, we have a 100% open vendor policy with no fees for outside vendors.

Moondance Weddings and Events is a relaxed and casual space. We are on a 60 acre ranch that has a house, very spacious garage, and lots of outdoor space. The garage, where most couples book, is fully done with air conditioning for those hot Texas days. It is attached to where most ceremonies are held. The concrete walkway and area overlooks the property to make sure your wedding photos are beautiful, nature-filled shots. We can host up to 200 guests, so we are best for small weddings. We are also a raw venue, meaning we only offer the space and nothing else.
