“Follow the Sun is seriously the best band ever! Not only do they sound amazing, they were so easy to communicate and plan with and are just genuinely good people. Prior to booking, we came out to watch a live performance and even though they were crazy busy, they each made a point to come say hi and get to know us a little bit. Sophie (our contact person for emails while planning) was personable, responsive, and beyond accommodating. They offer complimentary song requests during the planning process and personalized their performances to include us and our people They also played our ceremony live, and it was better than I could have ever imagined it would be! All we wanted for our wedding day was to celebrate and have fun with our friends and family, and Follow the Sun was the exact vibe we were looking for! I don’t think we left the dance floor once all night, other than to take sunset photos. Richie got our daughter involved by giving her a pick and letting her play his guitar mid performance, a highlight she hasn’t stopped talking about and will never forget!! Annnd they shared a bag of Doritos with me at the end of the night during cleanup, that I will never forget! “Overall music selection and sound was great, maybe a little too loud a some points but that may also be due to speaker placement. There was an issue with the DJ going to the wrong site initially. Our venue had 3 ceremony/reception sites, and he set up across the street at one of the other sites. This caused a delay in set up, but our coordinator and site manger were able to help him. I don’t think he verified with anyone when he arrived that he was at the correct wedding before setting up. Ceremony music sound was great. Microphones were provided which was great so everyone could hear us and our officiant”

“Gary was so fun and easy to work with! He was professional and organized while also being easy-going. My partner had been a guest at a prior wedding that Gary DJ'd, and had a blast, so we knew we would be in great hands for our own wedding, and Gary certainly did not disappoint. Also, as an example of his flexibility and consideration, at the end of the night he played our last three songs as we had requested, but of course some of our friends weren't quite ready to be done dancing yet, so he asked us what we wanted to do. Brian is not simply there to tell people it's time to eat and then press play on an iPod, rather, he is an MC who helps add valuable and meaningful context to your big day. To do this, Brian will collect lots of data from you. Plan on spending a few hours entering data in his portal where you'll provide information about your day, select songs for your first dance and the dance floor, and provide the details needed to craft your love story. Right before the first dance, Brian sat us down in front of the DJ booth and told the details of our love story for about five minutes. It's a fun way to tell the story to everyone, and it makes the first dance moment feel more special with that context in mind. Brian had lots of ideas for things we could do to add fun and entertaining moments to the evening, and nothing we did felt like we were simply checking a box. Once the dance floor opened, Brian did a great job of keeping everything rocking for over three hours of open dance. The dance floor was crowded all night, and Brian hit pretty much all of the songs we requested. To wrap things up, Brian got everyone to circle the dance floor, and we went around and gave everyone one last hug before we wrapped it up. Again, it was another thoughtful idea that Brian brought to the table. You can count on Brian making your experience less stressful and more enjoyable, so for us it was well worth the investment.”

The video turned out amazing! Last weekend, we watched the full ceremony edit, theatrical trailer, and gameday entrance. The attention to detail during the filming and with the audio, video, and transition in the final project was astounding.
