“Fernando was great to work with, I believe he is the owner. The purpose for my 4 stars was for a couple of reasons; I sent over timelines and the finalized timeline was great! However, I don’t believe that the DJ that came to my wedding read it over thoroughly. My bridal entrance song was botched, it had very detailed instructions, there didn’t seem to be any questions, however, it was started late into the song so my whole grand entrance was thrown off, it was supposed to be a surprise to my husband, but with it starting later into the song it didn’t offer me my grand entrance as the bride; I was very disappointed as I was patiently waiting to enter at a certain time of the song and finally just had them open the doors to enter at a completely different time in the song. As a bride when you spend months and months for that moment, it just made me very sad that it was taken from me. Another area, which was also detailed in the timeline, was for the bride and sons dance, I requested to have everyone on the dance floor for that dance because my kids are younger and I didn’t want them to feel like everyone was staring at them or get stage freight, however the DJ had everyone leave the dance floor and we were up there alone. I had to check to make sure he had the correct timeline because it seemed like there were things that just seemed off. The last thing was we started with a DJ named Mathew, he was unresponsive when I reached out to him in December, we finally had to reach out directly to the owner who took care of us from there. The DJ at our wedding, on all other things did great! Even our last dance he brought a speaker outside for us to dance under the lights which was a great idea. I would say it would have been great to have spoken directly to the DJ that would have been at our wedding prior to the wedding as these little issues could have been sorted during that time. All communication was through Fernando, he was very responsive.”

“Hiring OurDJRocks honestly was the best decision we could have made when it came to our wedding day. The entire staff showed immense patience and attention to detail as we went through the motions over the course of a year and half of planning. The company has a portal platform that helps each couple choose the specific type of music they want played during each portion of the wedding. It helped us tremendously as we chose certain songs for our first dance, etc. They even had a category to fill in songs that you didn’t want played which was helpful for us as well. Choosing the entire package consisting of uplighting, photobooth, dj for ceremony and reception was in our minds a no brainer. We loved every aspect of it all. The photobooth was by far the best idea as our friends and family were able to enjoy taking photos, recording videos with little messages to us and at the end they were able to keep the photo while putting another copy in a book for us. The line for the photobooth was always preoccupied as it was a major hit! Now, we must specifically talk about DJ Staz… WOW. We don’t really know what to say or how to put it into words. Staz was honestly such a vibe. During our introductory and planning calls we hit it off and knew we were in good hands. Staz kept a finger on the pulse of the music the entire night with putting together a DJ Set that will hands down go into the history books as one of our favorite musical acts. Having most of our friends who frequently DJ decent size shows, we knew we had to pick a solid DJ for our wedding and Staz did not disappoint. All of our friends and wedding guests were on the dance floor having a great time. The music consistently brought out the good vibes! “We booked String Theory's string quartet for our prelude, wedding ceremony, and cocktail hour, and they were hands-down one of my absolute favorite parts of our wedding day. I am honestly so overwhelmed with (positive) emotion when I think about what they added to our day that I don't even know where to start. As the bride, you're really running around a lot during the lead-up to your actual ceremony. We were kind of running late, so when we got to the venue itself I wasn't really focusing. Suddenly I realized I was hearing a string quartet playing, but they were executing the music I'd selected so flawlessly, I thought I was listening to a professional recording until I remembered that it was LIVE MUSIC played at MY WEDDING. I was absolutely blown away and the emotion of the day just hit me in that moment, and I genuinely believe it was enhanced by the strings! I did a private first look with my dad and they started playing music from Lord of the Rings that I'd selected and honestly it felt like I was in a movie. The emotion was that much more powerful and I still get emotional thinking about that moment. Our guests were absolutely raving about them as well, and in every video I've seen, they are playing often challenging pieces flawlessly. My ONE regret is that I did not get to sit and listen to them more, and like...what a regret to have! Allison was so wonderful, warm, professional, and lovely to work with. String Theory is the best and I am currently finding myself trying to plot events to book them for so I can personally experience more String Theory!
