Nestled in the historic Old Cottage Grove (est. 1843), our hidden gem of a venue offers a picturesque setting for your special event. Our iconic white gothic arched roof dairy barn, built in 1947 by the Vandenberg family, sits on five acres of pastures and oak trees, overlooking a valley with stunning sunsets. The historic John P. Furber Farm, with its Italianate home, has a rich history dating back to the town's founding. Transformed into a gorgeous wedding venue in 2010, this unique space retains its historic charm while offering modern amenities.

Our ol' 10 acre charm farm dates back to before MN was a state in the abstract. It's been in Brady’s family since the summer of '69 and we plan to keep it that way for generations to come. The original family that homesteaded the property came from Czechoslovakia. They built the hand-hewn log cabin on a boulder foundation and owned it for 112 years. Brady grew up in the home since '87 which has transformed over time into the gem that we have today. We kickstarted our journey at GarageTown LLC with our wedding in August, 2021. Enjoy the scenic 6-mile drive from SW Rochester on paved roads to a magical place nestled in the rolling hillsides of southeast Minnesota. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Now booking for year-round events! We do still have room for a 2024 wedding! Now booking 2025.
