For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm offers spectacular farm views and unique settings worthy of your vows. The serene farmland & rolling pastures paint an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. The Barns accommodate intimate weddings of 50 guests or larger celebrations of 150 guests. The farm itself dates to 1692, with a magnificent stone bank barn that has been standing since 1787. FringeArts is a unique venue in Old City with two versatile spaces that can be rented separately or together, based on the couple’s vision. Most often the spaces are rented together. Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Celebrate your next occasion on the Navesink! Our Main Dining Room has spectacular views of the Navesink River through the large, fully functioning glass garage doors. This room can accommodate roughly 50-60 guests. The Rooftop River Room is a fully enclosed rooftop that offers nearly 360-degree views of the Navesink River. Similar to the Main Dining Room it features two solid glass garage doors that open, in addition to the two sliding glass doors on the right hand wall. This room can accommodate roughly 30 guests. The Turtle Room is located on our second floor, and accommodates 20 guests. This room boasts an upscale relaxing environment coupled with the benefits of a private space. And last, we have our Starfish Room, this room allows roughly 30 guests. The Starfish and Turtle room are connected to each other with private restrooms and a small bar located at the center of the room.

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

We worked diligently to preserve and enhance the building’s historical charm and integrity. The bi-level space features restored finishes such as original pine flooring dating back to the 1830s, as well as tin ceilings, antique light fixtures, and exposed brick walls.
