Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland. We have three total wedding venue locations to choose from. Alpine Lodge available July – October, offers an all outdoor option with a mountain backdrop. Olympic Village Event Center located mountainside with an outdoor Summer/Fall garden area for the ceremony, adjacent deck for cocktail hour and evening firepits, and indoor lodge style reception with stunning mountain views, existing market & twinkle lights, and a big fireplace. Available year-round. High Camp located on the mountaintop. This venue offers an incredible experience for you and your guests, and also has Lake Tahoe views! The ceremony and social hour will be on the outside observation deck and the reception is indoors with the same lake view and sweeping mountain scape. Available April – early December.
