The Raymond venue is listed on the National Historic Register as the Raymond Motor Company. Originally a 1920’s garage warehouse, it set empty on the town square for decades. Our dream was to create a space for community and celebration in the heart of our charming downtown. It has been our joy to carefully restore it with extra thought and intention to share a most dreamy and awe-inspiring space. We are owned and operated by three friends and visionaries who are local residents who join many others thinking that Raymond is truly a hidden gem with untold potential. We are delighted to collectively realize a dream and fulfill a commitment to serve our community and state and provide a beautiful celebration space for all to enjoy. Welcome! Hereford Hills is an event barn that will host any of your parties, weddings, corporate retreats, reunions, etc. We can provide caterers, photographers, florists, or any event need. All in a picturesque setting on a secluded 35 acre farm. Hereford Hills Event Venue is located on a 35 acre Registered Hereford Cattle Farm. It is conveniently located between Columbia, MS and Sumrall, MS. We are approximately 30 minutes outside of Hattiesburg, MS. We offer a bridal cottage with attached grain silo for a dressing room. The bridal cottage has an elegant rustic feel. We also offer a small grooms cabin for the groom and his party to hang out in until the big moment.

Shane and I gave up our lives in the big city of Houston, both quit our jobs to pursue a life that was more in alignment with where our hearts are. Kara spent 20 years in Real Estate and Shane spent 30 years in Petro Chemical industry. They sold their house in Texas, bought a Poultry farm in Mississippi and now the Homestead Event Venue. They currently enjoy their animals, providing poultry/food for their community and serving in whatever way they can. Built in the 1850's, The Lowry House is a rare hip-roofed galleried cottage. The house was originally located at 426 Fortification Street, but was moved in 1914 when North Congress Street was extended north beyond Fortification Street. It was the residence of Gov. Robert Lowry, who served as governor from 1882 to 1890, after his term in office. The house was also owned by the Hull family who bought the house in 1908 and was responsible for the additions and alterations that occurred. The home and the lot it now sits on were donated to the Mississippi Heritage Trust by Baptist Hospital in 2006 after being named one of MS 10 Most Endangered Historic Places in 2005.

Nestled in The Fondren Warehouse District, you will discover The Plant Venue — an industrial warehouse transformed into a modern event space defined by contemporary design and natural elements! Featuring an array of vibrant botanicals and a variety of spaces, The Plant Venue offers a unique urban experience in Mississippi like no other.

What is now a natural haven of nearly 2,000 acres began with a deal made from love. Buddy and Joni McClain, who had married in the Chapel, began what was to become a labor of love when they purchased the original 468-acre property. When adjoining acreage became available, they jumped at the chance to expand their domain. The added property included what is now the Guest House, which was built between 1837 and 1841. A descendant of the home once wrote that the property was spared from burning by Gen. Sherman on his infamous march through the South, though he did water his horses in the lake out front, and his men took food and other supplies. Now beautifully renovated, the Guest House offers all the amenities of the home, coupled with the quaint feel of days gone by.

This is an old cotton gin built in thd 1050’s. It is very rustic, homey, & has a boho feel if decorated that way. We can hold 200 people Comfortably but we have had 300 before at a wedding. It can be dressed wag up or you can have a laid back setting.

Oak Hill Estate hosts both a historic home and a banquet space on its premises. The house is approximately 2,600 sq ft while the banquet space is about 6,700 square feet. The exterior of the estate is meticulously cared for, showcasing green lawns and landscaped gardens. Couples will have separate get-ready spaces, each with their own aesthetic. The kitchen comes fully equipped. Ceremonies can take place indoors or out, and the same goes for receptions. Couples holding their wedding celebration at Oak Hill Estate will have the opportunity to rent various useful additions from the venue’s collection. These may include chairs, tables, chandeliers, centerpieces, bistro tables, and many other items. Two set packages are available. Each of these offers two-day rental blocks as well as seating provisions. In addition to weddings, this venue is pleased to host social gatherings, parties, reunions, retreats, and more.
