“I've seen a few other reviewers comment that if you visit the Gardens, you don't need to go any further. And I think that's right... If you talk to the Gardens and like what you see, that's exactly what you get. My wife and I did tour another place after we visited the Gardens, and their was simply no comparison. If you're like us and are not committed to DIYing I don't think there's a better inclusive venue in the area. The Gardens staff are responsive and helpful throughout the preparatory project, and truly being able to do almost everything through them was amazing. They also really showed their commitment as the ceremony date approached. We had to change officiants at the last minute due to illness, and our MC was in from out of town. They absolutely worked with us to get them up to speed and ensure everything went smoothly. I'd recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the area.”

Nippersink on the Lake can host up to 350 wedding guests with scenic full room views of our private Lake Tombeau. The venue also provides a bridal suite on site for the bride and bridal party to relax and enjoy during the day. Engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions are all ideal on the Nippersink om the Lake.

“We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our day. Everyone at Nippersink was beyond kind and helpful on the day of and for the entire year leading up to the wedding. Jaclyn was a dream to work with. She answered all of my many questions and was so flexible and accommodating. She always responded very promptly and went above and beyond in answering any questions or requests. Paul, the owner, and his wife were equally helpful and kind. I loved how personable their entire family was. My now husband and I kept saying throughout the whole wedding planning process how lucky we were to find Nippersink. Some examples of how they went above and beyond: buying my favorite flavored water and Malibu to use as a signature drink, allowing us to add on an appetizer a week before the wedding, sending us pictures of all of the available decor to use (they have so many great options available!), giving us the nicest gift day of, being flexible in the rehearsal dinner timing, and allowing us to have our ceremony at the venue with only 4 months notice when our church fell through. Besides their family being the sweetest, they have created such a wonderful space! The new wooden tables and chairs are gorgeous, the hotel was just redone, the grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. We have gotten SO many compliments from guests about how much they loved the venue and were told from a guest it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! We truthfully could not have had a better experience and we are so thankful to everyone at Nippersink on the Lake for that! Five stars just isn’t enough!”

“I cannot express how happy I am that Bluestem Farm was our wedding reception venue. First, the venue is gorgeous! If you’re into the rustic look/theme, this venue is for you. The string lights and chandeliers throughout the venue are beautiful. The bridal suite was very la eggs and accommodating for the hair and makeup team as well as all the bridesmaids, mothers, and the bride. Kelly and her team work like a well-oiled machine - everything on our wedding night ran very smoothly, thanks to Kelly and her team following closely along to our timeline of the day and paying attention to all the details. It was a near flawless night, and it was the most unforgettable night of our lives. Everything was mostly packed up for us on Sunday as well, making our clean up quick and efficient. We would highly recommend Bluestem Farm for any wedding ceremony/reception in the northern IL/southeastern WI areas.”
